so apparently it's set in a fictional mediterranean island called Medici (which means medics in italian). But I dunno if it's an 'italian' island because of the spanish text on walls and cars in some screens, but the setting definetly looks very similar to sicily.

Mad Max is still being worked on by their Swedish studio, while the New York studio is working on JC3.

They've already stated that they won't be putting in multiplayer, but leaving it up to modders again if they want to. They're doing it to spend more time on polishing and making the core game itself, rather than splitting some development into making MP.

I wish this was the case with GTA V
so much time and money wasted for something modders would do a lot better. It all could have gone into the sp instead, and god knows it needs it

They've stated that the map size will be the same as JC2, but they're going to be adding a lot more to do in it, which I think is the better way to go about it.

I really hope Rico looks bored and gloomy beyond all reason in this game while everything around him is completely insane and never stops as a running gag.
Man, you could put credits over those visuals as intro to some series on HBO or whatever.
Real pity it won't have multiplayer, i can't think of a better game to co-op with someone.
