Democracy is fucking boring to watch. People completely forget the input delay and overshoot constantly.
It looks like most people have learnt from the lesson of getting quite far and overshooting into a spinner, and are anticipating the 20sec delay.
And the whole multi-input commands never win because people spamming 'left' always outnumber people trying to get 'left4' to win.

But truth be told, democracy may be the only thing that gets us through this fucking puzzle before Christmas. I just hope anarchy will be voted back once we're past this part.

It should count a vote for 'left4' as a vote for 'left3', 'left2' or 'left' too, and treat 'leftleft' as being equivalent to a vote for 'left2'.
The stream doesn't seem to be learning so far. They keep overshooting, causing Red to hit the panel that throws him back to the start of the maze every time.

Hopefully every time that happens enough people will remember.
Oh god. They made it.

DEMOCRACY
This democracy system made the stream extremely slow

It's nice for precision movements, but once in battles or when precision is not required, spam anarchy back.
The funny thing is, if they lose the battle with Giovanni, they will have to do it all over again.
Haha we're going to overshoot selecting pidgeot and send out oddish instead.
is the chat down?
Democracy is such boring garbage, it should be saved for emergencies only.
This whole vote system makes it feel opposite to what it was at the start, Brute Forcing through everything has gotten us almost half way through the game and would probably go further if we had the time. This make it feel a lot more like a let's play
We're back to anarchy!

It'll be interesting to see if the community can switch between anarchy and democracy when the situation requires it. Adds another layer to the experiment.
Looks like people are spamming "democracy" again, afraid that some idiot goes up right after the battle ends.
The chat is swinging more and more towards a democratic system.
As long as it's like every two seconds or stuff, people will still make dumb decisions, it'll just be harder to spend hours and hours on a single ledge.
For people that can't watch right now, right after the battle ended, someone pressed up three times, and they got launched back to the start of the puzzle.
someone explain how eevee causes the release of jay leno and whoever else I was drunk when that happened

eevee got evolved into flareon so they tried to put it in the PC to make room for lapras because it learns surf but they ended up releasing jay and abby instead
Looking at the vote stats, it seems there might be just 100 active voters at best. The rest of the 80.000 are just viewing.
oh my god this is so much funnier with the counter
he's just fucking standing there while the commands tally up at lightspeed why is this so much funnier

Says a lot about society....

it was a massive shitstorm of commands back when it was pure anarchy, and combined with the stream delay and the fact that the game is only going to process so many inputs at a time it never feels like my vote actually does anything
