they're fucked at Silph Co.
hopefully the streamer gets rid of this stupid voting bullshit before then
One 48 hour step at a time, salty, one 48 hour step at a time.
I'm not sure how my body is going to react to the sudden cutoff of a constant flow of Rocket Hideout and Celadon music. Hopefully well.
I was sane enough to mute the stream at least.
You're missing the emotional journey of hearing a teleport or dig that pierces the repeating music. It's a mix of shock, disbelief and thoughts of suicide.

Nah, they got it through the power of democracy.

once again
team rocket HQ =/= Silph Co.
They arrived on lavender town, incoming disturbing song.
Fuck this is frustrating to watch.
they have no pokemon left with moves that affect ghost-types

they got rid of Dig?
Pidgeot could've 1hkoed ghastly with gust, but instead he used sand attack 5 times. Red blacked out.

Dig rat killed itself through confusion
Democracy should be gone entirely.
Anarchy was 100% of fun that happened during this stream.
If you want to complete the game, then play it yourself on an emulator.

Gust, quick attack, and whirlwind don't affect ghost types
Ghost-types against Pidgeot.
May the Helix Fossil help us now, nobody else can.

-snip, late-
it's kind of creepy to watch red spaz out in lavender town with that music

Who cares if Democracy is an option, it usually just gets start 9ed into oblivion unless we actually need it.

Gust is flying, heres the weakness chart

It would've done damage. It's a flying type move.
Also whirlwind didn't do anything because of it's intended use. Whirlwind force-switches the trainer's pokemon or throws you out of a wild pokemon fight. If the trainer's on his last pokemon, whirlwind has no effect.

but that still wastes time we could be wasting by fumbling around in corners, doorways, and the pokedex

Gust counts as a Normal-Type in RBY, they just tried used it on a Ghastly and it didn't work.
Also, in RBY Whirlwind only works to escape Wild Pokémon battles, it has no effect in a trainer battle. The ability to force switch out a Pokémon in a Trainer battle wasn't until a later generation.

I love watching these spazzy battles where we do nothing but try to use unusable items or try to run away from the trainer for 5 minutes straight
Drowzee has Pound, which is a Normal-type, and it's in the first slot, so he's just going to end up spamming that and killing himself in every fight against Ghost-types.
... Except now he managed to get a Hypnosis off, which was really impressive.
They managed to dig out and heal before they got wiped out. Impressive.
