The most annoying thing about the adaptations is that they're not even trying to be Reservoir Dogs.
Reservoir Dogs is at it's core a movie about people talking. Most of the runtime consists of either flashbacks, or, guys going back and forth in the same two rooms. That's kind of the genius of it. It's really not about 'what happened' at the jewelry store, it's about the characters and interactions. What specifically happened at the jewelry store is irrelevant, and not meant to be seen. That's what sets it apart from most heist movies.
If you really wanted to game-ify Reservoir Dogs, it would really be best suited to a narrative driven adventure game. I can't think of any other genre where you aren't losing what makes Reservoir Dogs, fucking Reservoir Dogs.

ok I can confirm this is a chinese ripoff
no english speaking person could be this daft
Hahaha that massive quality difference from the animated cutscene to the actual gameplay was great. :v:
The most proper incarnation of a RD game I could think of is a social-destruction "who's-the-rat" type tabletop or card game.
the original reserivoir dogs game was better
and it wasnt even called reserivoir dogs, or had anything to do with it story-wise
it was called max payne
Is it just me or is this artstyle being used A LOT lately? I feel like I've seen it everywhere.
Where did I say it isn't a good movie? I'm only saying the art style is similar.
But they're not similar. The game's art is total trash.
Reservoir Dogs could never work as an action game, despite the subject matter. One of the points of the film is that most of the bloodshed is "off-screen" basically, showing how the heist went down would kinda ruin the film.

So I'm the only one getting the same vibes from The Incredibles and TF2 as far as the character designs and bobblehead-esque proportions go?
