It's pretty crap to be honest, it doesn't push any boundaries, it doesn't even sound new. It just sounds generic and inoffensive and ripe for the charts.
Neither a sound system banger or a tune you'd just chill to.
Because all music needs to push boundaries.
Fair play but it sounds like something I'd heard about 4 years ago, when the chart was full of this sort of stuff. This would probably sound better without the lyrics, they're pretty wet to be honest. My mate would describe them as "gay"
I don't understand the fascination with Deadmau5, Remember was a pretty good tune but I don't really get his stuff and I quite like dance music.
Some sort of retro vein going on in music as a whole at the moment. Finding what you want is really hard tbh.

I've never liked Deadmau5 but I support this song because he got the guy when he sent in his sample, Deadmau5 then actually took him on and they collab-ed for the song, I think that would be an amazing thing to experience and DeadMau5 is a cool guy for doing it. I still hate a lot of his songs though.
Isn't this the song that he made with a fan? He was doing a live stream and a guy sang over one of his samples and deadmau5 got his number and they talked and all and decided to make a song together.
He is really great with his fans

Yeah he did it mainly to oppose using well-known vocalists for the sake of it rather than actually choosing someone who fits the song like he has done here.
The only music i like from deadmaus is ghost n stuff featuring the engineer ;)
Lol it sounds nothing like daft punk
The sound effects on the vocals give it a similar feel to a lot of post-Homework Daft Punk song.
Love that plucky synth he uses a lot.
He's had some really good tunes recently.

So many fanboys, lol.
It may just be me, but I generally prefer the songs without lyrics. I mean, If I wanted to listen to singing, I'd listen to some other band. When I listen to Deadmau5, Daft Punk, Eisenfunk or X-RX, I do so because i'm in the mood for lots of electronically created music with a minimum of human voice.
Love that plucky synth he uses a lot.
Yeah, he uses it in every song, a very moog-ish sound.
I'm glad that Deadmau5 is going back to his roots. There's also plenty of music that's probably better, but listening to this song on a good day does good for the soul.

It also makes me feel a little nostalgic, am I the only one?

There is a bit more depth to the lyrics to be honest, They follow the short story written by Ray Bradbury. It's not exactly "gay" given the context. (coming from a burial fan)
He made this on a live stream and he sat at his computer for 23 hours straight.
It was from one night to the next one, and it was awesome.
Holy shit, I remember that. That was so cool!
He's currently streaming now, and is reworking a song he made from 2007, here

No music is special. All of it is unique.
Go away please.

Oh facepunch. Someone makes a thread bashing on dedmau5 - everyone jumps on the bandwagon. somone makes a thread praising dedmau5 - everyone suddenly likes him.
Boring and repetitive.
Boring and repetitive.
That's, like, Your opinion man.
Deadmau5 makes such long ass songs.
I've had this on loop all day.
It's sweet enough to keep you listening but smooth enough to not get repetitive.
Thanks OP.
