MW3 Teaser. Oh boy. - General

Is this actually considered a real teaser? It is almost exactly the same as their teaser for MW2. I actually like the Modern Warfare single player, and I'm going to get this. Not sure why everyone flips shit because teenagers get boners over the multiplayer.

Looks worth pirating. Of course I'd never do such a thing I'm just commenting on the quality of recent CoD games.

I really like the CoD singleplayers, that's why i play them. Online stopped being fun at mw2.

I think MW2 was alright, but IW spent a few months on putting crazy, over the top fun stuff in the game and a whole 10 minutes trying to balance it out. Things like the 1887s and AC130s and Barrett .50s with ACOGs are fun as hell, but not so fun when you're getting constantly raped by them over and over. Black Ops had a huge kneejerk reaction where every gun in the game is the same and it's much more balanced but incredibly boring. I hope maybe IW will have seen what went wrong with MW2 and BO and make an actually great game this time. :buddy:

What I don't get is the story of MW3 takes place right after MW2. So within those days/months leading between MW3 and MW2 the weaponry would stay the same surely? Same attachments, models etc. So surely it would just be reusing MW2 weapons? What new weapons can they fit in story wise?

I will say they are at least poking this dead horse a bit, but even so, I really have had a pretty good experience with all the CoD games for PC. Maybe my taste for games is not very raffined, but for me, all this hate for the MW series seems a bit outlandish. But maybe it's just my tendency to not be too much of a critic.

I have to admit I enjoyed the Black Ops single player because it had a decent story with some nice twists and intense moments in it. However multiplayer has just gotten bland in all the CoD games after MW1, as for the story with the MW series, I have no fucking idea what's going on, it's just a cluster fuck of fuck of random fuck with explosions, I have no intention of going anywhere near this.

I will admit, even though I think the CoD series is milked to no end I still enjoy the games a lot and I look forward to MW3. Still doesn't mean I won't get Battlefield 3.
