Sorry, I forgot you were the master of comedy, and your taste in comedy is the one and only.
Oh my bad, your passive aggressive defense gainsaying has totally convinced of my error in judgement. What at a fool I was to call someone on their spectacularly unfunny bullshit butthurt condescension.
Sincerest apologies.

Yea this guy is a cunt who can't put his head around the fact that art isn't the artist
i dont give a fuck about some faggot kid complaining about his "generation"'s shitty music or whatever the fuck (do people seriously still bitch about music being shitty i thought that was left to youtube comments left by 13 year olds in 2008), but I do have a problem with that intro. oh boo hoo you faggot a song didnt have a distorted guitar and minor power chords, rock doesnt have any balls anymore am i right guys. breezeblocks is a fucking great song and has no relevance to the 90s grunge/postgrunge movement. kurt cobain isnt coming back get the fuck over it
WoP and Gas Pedal are both catchy songs.

Most of the songs are definitely shit (VERSACE. VERSACE. VERSACEVERSACE. VERSACE, VERSACEVERSACEVERSACEVERSACE x100.... holy fucking shit guys i think we have some Kanye West-level lyrical genius right here).
But 'I Wish' is just sooo unbelievably catchy and T.I. ain't a bad rapper at all.
Just because you think they are catchy, simple, and fun, doesn't mean everyone else does. Most of these songs make me want to kill my self because of how shit they are. Not everybody has the same music tastes as you. I don't see how someone saying something over and over is "fun". If I made a pile of shit song like that and said, "oh it's just for fun". It doesn't make it not a pile of shit.
Chill out man. You just can't prove to anyone that a song is legitimately shit. Like any art form, music is subjective. That's why I think the video is a load of shit because Buckley is acting like he's preaching the truth. No matter how terrible a song might be to you and everybody else you know, there's always going to be at least a single dude out there that loves it. You even said it yourself, not everybody has the same music taste as me, yet you go ahead and try to prove that my opinion is wrong.
The only reason Buckley gives a shit is because people make fuck tons of money on this crap with no effort put into it.
However, this argument is complete bullshit. As a producer I can assure you it takes a lot of effort to create any of these songs listed in the video, even the damn Versace song. The ability to write music and especially hooks and melodies that appeal to a massive amount of people is a skill very few people are given, I can tell you that much. Artists like Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga and Miley Cyrus even have entire teams of people to write and produce their songs, here's an example:

That's 7 people that worked on those lyrics and hooks alone. I'm not defending any of these songs, I can't stand some of songs in the video either. I'm just saying man, there's no way to validate your opinion on whatever piece of music.
lol this guy must be a blast at parties
Why are people rating this funny as if they've NEVER heard this one before or expected to hear it again based on thread title alone. Frankly I'm surprised it took til page two for this epic zinger to come up, still waiting on fedora and neckbeard.

That's cause he lumped em all in to the vague as fuck alt-rock umbrella which in the 90s also contained things like REM and Oasis. Such testicles.
