They don't. Its more of a mixed thing. Half love him and the other have don't. In fact I think wondering why fp likes him so much would be a better question since its so much higher then the norm.
FP likes Ron Paul because they agree with a few of his views (legalizing marijuana, etc) and because it's so obvious that the media is trying to marginalize him. FP hates him because he's libertarian and a racist.

Ron Paul is awesome. And yes the irony is spectacular; hes smoking a cigarette which he is addicted to because it is a DRUG yet has problems with people smoking marijuana, who can't become addicted because marijuana isn't addictive.

I won't vote republican but if Ron Paul wins I won't have a problem.
I sure as hell hope Ron Paul wins the American elections because he is by far the most SANE choice compared to the others I have seen such as Rick Perry who is letting his religion get in the way of his thinking. I cannot stand to watch your country crumble apart after such a great history.

I don't mind if they want to bring someone on their show to have a respectful debate-- but this guy is just an asshole to Congressman Paul. Instead of holding any form of intelligent debate he's just got the peanut gallery throwing insults. It shows a lot about Paul's character to be able to stay there throughout the entirety of the show. I would have just left.

He's not the greatest guy out, but out of the current people to choose for the election, he's the best out of the other dickwads

I do not agree with Paul on most things, but everyone has to respect how tenaciously he has stood his ground, and how much shit he has taken for all the wrong reasons.
I mean, I'll be the first to say terrible things about his ideas in political debates, but I would not just blindly insult him like the people in this video.
