Am I the only one who wouldn't of known about the silver being so expensive? I'm retarded.
it's taught in most schools that any major currency is backed up by the value of gold and silver. in modern society currency is not actual money, the actual money is the worth of the currency in gold or silver. currency is basically an IOU saying "this bill is worth a dollar of gold/silver".
Hershey's? I'd rather eat the silver bar.
I always laugh when Euros say this shit. Hershey really isn't that bad, get over yourself. And yes Australia isn't in Europe, I know, but you're still a Euro.
I'm sorry did real chocolate kill your family or somethin'?
I wouldn't take the silver bar due to the fact that the guy could of stole it from somewhere and I really don't want to go to jail for theft. "How'd you get this?" "Some guy on the street gave it to me....." "HA, good one"
idk if i was walking down the street and dude offers me a 'silver bar' and a wrapped chocolate bar. I'm more lilkely to believe it's probably not actually silver just because i dont someone would run around philly giving away actual silver.
Not quite the same but I saw something years ago where it was easier giving away a free umbrella worth £1 than actually giving away a £1 coin because why would somebody just give you money? It's too suspicious.
hersheys chocolate isn't even good what the fuck it's cardboard: the chocolate like maybe toblerone or even better chocolate I could almost understand but hersheys? what the fuc
Yeah, it's actually not very nice at all. It has this horrible bitter taste.
I think some of them realised they were being filmed and thought it was a sort of 'gold digger' prank or trick of some kind.
You're being serious.. right?
Im not saying chocolate is more valuable its just that its kind of shady for a dude to just give you a free bar of silver just like that for no reason at all.
Yeah, it's actually not very nice at all. It has this horrible bitter taste.
Hershey's here is pretty much all sugar and no coco (read: no bitterness whatsoever and of course not too much flavor. It's not great, but posts like these make me wonder what kind of second rate garbage were sending you guys.

Just don't get the default bars.
Yeah, it's actually not very nice at all. It has this horrible bitter taste.
Are you sure you didn't grab a dark chocolate bar?
People are so goddamn stupid it's not even funny anymore. Sugar and consumption always comes first here.
I think some of them realised they were being filmed and thought it was a sort of 'gold digger' prank or trick of some kind.
It was very clear that if you take the chocolate you get to just walk away and not deal with whatever he was doing. It's the equivalent of taking a flyer from somebody so you can just keep walking without hassle.
I'd just feel a bit wierd taking the guy's silver bar. He's got a load of chocolate bars, and only one silver bar, so I'll not be a dick and take the chocolate.
There's an old saying that "if it seems too good to be true, it probably is."
A large part of why low-cost chocolate tastes weird is the butyric acid. Some people say it tastes like vomit. If you're accustomed to eating high-quality chocolate it probably does. Probably because of the similarity to stomach acid.
To be honest I'd pass on both things, I don't want any food from strangers that could have been "manipulated" or worse, or something of possible high value that may had been stolen. That is if it was for a real situation and not for one of these really badly staged "experiment" videos.
I would go with sliver any way not eating something that random person on streest gave me

Don't they use overdue milk in Hershey's?
If there was some stranger who randomly gave me a silver bar I'd throw that shit away I don't know where that's been. Especially when I'm out in the middle of a city street where someone can totally just mug me like 10 minutes later.
Does your house have a front door
Obviously the experiment wasn't the filming (which is clearly bullshit), it's the video itself. Watch as 99% of people say "Wow wtf I'd take the silver". No shit. This is just the video equivalent of those retarded questions that go something like "97% of adults get wrong! can you solve it?". Somehow everyone ends up feeling smarter than everyone else even though everyone else would have done exactly the same thing (they would have got the right answer/made the right choice/got the fuck off facebook). Also this guy is totally bonkers.
