That was just a very relatable moment that you could apply to just about everything in life. Angry Birds had nothing to do with the humor.
I'll give this movie a shot, but the fact that it's Angry Birds has nothing to do with me giving it a shot, it looks like a run of the mill animated comedy and I'm ok with that.

On top of that, weren't movies for other Hasbro board games announced around the same time as Battleship? I think I heard Monopoly and Candyland were getting movies as well.

I've seen boom and yeah it's alright, the movie from what I understand will NOT use Boom Sonic (or the respective universe Boom takes place in) though. So bringing up the current cartoon is irrelevant to the movie coming up

Also what's the point of having peter dinklage is something non-live action just for his voice. His voice honestly isn't what makes him as an actor, it's his facial acting as well as his predisposition as a dwarf. He can deliver fantastic dialogue but it has to be from him as a character, not just as a voice.

Somehow Josh Gad being in this is the least surprising thing in the world right now. When his name came up I was overcome with the feeling of an expectation having been fulfilled, even though I never actually expected it.
