I don't think it's seperate dimensions. i think they're alternative universes. See, the girl on the otherside is the guy on the one side. Meaning, he wants to fuck himself.
The guy is a dog, the girl is a cat.
The guy notices the girl and goes over to her. He throws over some chalk to her so she and him can write on the wall with him. They start drawing and having fun. Soon they kind of fall in love so to speak.
The guy decides he'll try to break the glass so he can be with the girl. The girl starts to tell him not to do it but he doesn't listen, only tells her to get out of the way. He manages to punch through the glass, but unfortunately the glass fixes itself. The glass shreds the guy's arm, making it useless.
He comes back to the girl and the girl wants to draw with him. Unfortunately his drawing hand is messed up, so he can't draw anymore. He goes back to the girl and the girl has a present for him. I assume she managed to throw the box over the wall. He opens the box and inside is her arm.
Basically, the video is about what you would do for love. And some of you guys must have an extreme deep hatred for anything with ears and a tail to be put off by something like this.
