Anything looks good on anything, hell you can even mod your headphones or recolor them using different types of paint which will still be under the price range of Beats headphones. Heck, I own a pair of AKG k518 dj headphones for 4 years now, modded them well enough, gonna keep using them till the day they die (Prolly gonna spray paint them, kinda wanted to see how well white/blue will mix in)

Currently loving my Brainwavz HM5s. They're cheaper than the ath-m50s. I'm tempted to get a pair of m50s though for their portability, you can't really take the HM5s everywhere.
do you put it in your butt?
if you buy it you're probably the kind of person who would
DT 770 Pros (80) are what I've been using for the past year or so.
I'm curious about some of the audio heads in this threads opinion about Sony MDR-ZX100s. $20 will get you these tanks with fairly good quality sound:
imo the zx100 are a pile of actual piss, their lower range from about 20 to 250hz is just either non-exsistant or completely overwhelming, it's almost like they've got a noise gate on the bass frequencies, They're just super tinny and pure mids. I used them as grot boxes for mixing on logic because they're just so unflattering and beyond tinny. Someone here posted the Sennheiser HD25-IIs I think, those are great for mixing (although you should be using monitors ideally, it's good to have a few options to listen to), They've also got really good isolation if you're after not being distracted by others and having your kawaii anime themes screaming out of your headphones on the bus
My headphones are a "E-Blue Cobra Gaming Black" and they sound pretty good to me but sadly i think the wire went kaput and the right side only works when it wants to.
I game and listen music with a Siberia V2 gaming headset,I found that the sound quality is really good for the price.
The fuck is "charge out"?
So you can charge your phone, etc. [editline]1st September 2014[/editline] Also, if you have not gotten enough beats audio from your HP laptop or HTC phone, you can get it in your car, too!
Can anyone recommend some good, reasonably priced in ear headphones? My broken HTC One ones were amazing with good clear bass, haven't heard anything like them.
Sony makes some excellent ones for under $60-$80, though they both seem discontinued I have a variation of this one, from at least 4 or so years ago, still going strong today (though the rubber casing on the outside is coming off) http://www.amazon.com/Stereo-Headphones-MDR-EX310SL-Dynamic-Receiver/dp/B00420UANG/ref=sr_1_121?s=aht&ie=UTF8&qid=undefined&sr=1-121&keywords=sony+in-ear+headphones This one appears to be cheaper and more current: http://www.amazon.com/Sony-MDRXB60EX-Headphones-Discontinued-Manufacturer/dp/B009A6CZ12/ref=sr_1_157?s=aht&ie=UTF8&qid=1409585383&sr=1-157&keywords=sony+in-ear+headphones Excellent sound quality. I'm really surprised at what those guys can put out. Super comfortable too and due to their shape they never fall out or get lose in your ear.
While we're talking about various headphones, anyone have any opinions on the Sony MDR-V6s?
Mine make me look absolutely fucking retarded, but I only use them in my room so I don't care. :v: [t]http://i.cubeupload.com/pk2h7U.jpg[/t] [sp]Pictured: Not me, and not my pair. Those are XB1000s, a step up from my 700s. The sound is excellent (in my opinion), but they're pricey, look silly, and the leather that rests on the ear wears out after about 6-12 months and will flake off.[/sp]
They also make ugly as hell desktops.
DT 770 Pros (80) are what I've been using for the past year or so.
I got these after finally getting utterly fed up of destroying headphones every 8-12 months. Finally a set of headphones made with metal. Finally a set that actually fits comfortably. Worth every last cent so far.
Id recommend Beyerdynamic DT770s, Audio Technica ATH-M50xs, and Sennheiser HD558s for good entry level headphones that easily outclass anything at their price point.

Not saying Beats doesn't suck. Might not be the most accurate headphones, but I love them.
I have white ATH M50's with the coil cord, excellent headphones for the price. I used dre's and thought I had mud in my ears. Had a girl who loved her Dre's try my M50s and she asked where the bass was, I told her the bass was there but wasn't the only thing. She then said they weren't made by Dre and didn't look as cool. It's all about marketing this day in age for how people get their products, all I care about is quality. This guy does a really good job of getting the big point across, and glad I made a good choice in my headphones for the price range.
[t]http://dawfreak.files.wordpress.com/2012/08/syberia.jpg[/t] Been loving these. Sound fantastic, feel fantastic, and they don't look like shit. Having an actual sound card with an equalizer makes a huge difference, though. Siberia V2 FYI.
This should be obvious to pretty much anyone. If it gets advertised in every commercial break, appears in every popular music video, and every celebrity makes a deliberate effort to be seen with them, that means the cost of all those things gets passed on to you. So, unless you feel like making a donation to people who are already rich, go buy some Shures or Audio Technicas or Sennheisers or something. But not Bose. Bose was doing the "sell cheap shit based on form factor and overwhelming advertising" long before Beats.
I've been eying the Senn HD25 and Beyerdynamic's DT1350 for a couple weeks now, as they're supposed to be at the top of the game as portable on-ear headphones. Both can give you a much better sound with great build quality for the same price as Beats Studio (assuming they still cost around $250). Although I bet the "unboxing experience" will be lackluster compared to Beats. :v:
Bought these on Christmas for 10€ on a sale (they were 20€ at that time) [t]http://brain.pan.e-merchant.com/8/4/09986748/l_09986748.jpg[/t] I use them mostly for listening to music in my house, since i use these for the street: [t]http://eu.skullcandy.com/shop/media/catalog/product/cache/1/image/1400x/17f82f742ffe127f42dca9de82fb58b1/i/n/inkd-2-rasta.jpg[/t] They are actually fairly good for 15 Pounds.
I wish someone made headphones that sounded good for the price and looked good. We only get one or the other.
The real problem with Beats is that the technology/company that started them was basically ran out of business by Dr. Dre
Pffft, I spent 30 bucks on a pair of knock offs from Monoprice and they're just as good, maybe not super studio tier but they've actually garnered glowing reviews. They're also just standard black headphones studio styled headphones with pads and everything.
I have these headphones [t]http://randycoppinger.files.wordpress.com/2012/03/sony_phones_mdr-7506.jpg[/t] Best headphones I've ever used. When I'm out jogging I just use the normal ol' default iPod earbuds. Not the best but they get the job done.
I use SoundMAGIC E10 earbuds for listening on the go and I got a pair of Siberia V2s with equalized audio for my PC. Quite nice all in all I can't complain
They also make ugly as hell desktops.
who is that even marketed to like seriously what
anyone else use grados? I have sr60i's because I'm poor :c not that it matters when all the music I listen to is lowfi so basically they're only good for me for the build quality (which has been nice, the plastic surprisingly has lasted) [t]https://www.mayflowerelectronics.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/01/s766342198886759882_p24_i2_w1024.jpeg[/t]
