ugh most of this prerendered. the 360 isn't doing much besides playing a video
Even the stuff that appears to be in-engine, like the scene with [sp]Chief and Cortana[/sp]? If so, that's a shame.
And it's been taken down.
Can anyone re-upload it?
ugh most of this prerendered. the 360 isn't doing much besides playing a video
The only pre-rendered shit is at the end and the beginning of the game. The stuff that actually looks pre-rendered.
It was Commander Shepard all along under that!

Aww cool shit blew up yo. Can't wait to fly in a p-pF-pp-pA-pa-pa-PELICAN!
I always thought chief was black
I didn't realize how big chief was.
it looks like they've scaled everything up which is good, that brute was pretty big
after seeing the legendary ending i have decided to get this game mite b cool, narrative seems like a fun journey
Halo 1 was the game that almost had me get an X-box, it was a great single-player/coop experiance, Halo 2 was fun to coop but 'eh in SP thanks to all the Arbiter levels, Halo 3 was alright to coop, but the Brutes just weren't the same to fight and the 'flashbits' were lolzy. ODST was a nice change of pace, but once again, asset recycling meant derpy Brutes to fight. Reach, ick. Now? I lolwat the ending scene looks ripped from Star Trek. I remember looking at the previews for Halo 2 and imagining an awesome campaign centred around Earth and the Solar-system. Of course, the series was all clingy to the Forerunner things and then the Arbiter got thrown in and they just had to keep the Flood... Hell, even Halo 3 brought up the whole 'finishing the fight', bringing hype for the battles upon Earth, and instead we spend the majority of the game having Cortana whine at us from half-way across the galaxy. I honestly wish we could've just had a game as an ODST or a Marine or something, fighting along the Covenant without the Forerunner/Flood constantly cropping up everywhere.
Wow that is much better than I expected. They wrapped it up every way everyone wanted it to be: who the fuck is master chief.
Wow that is much better than I expected. They wrapped it up every way everyone wanted it to be: who the fuck is master chief.
We knew who he was before the first game even released, he had the majority of a book wrapped around him. :v:
could have been much better imo.
I didn't realize how big chief was.
He jumps like 3m or something crazy.
I saw the legendary ending and I don't get it NOW I HAVE TO PLAY IT FUCK YOU GUYS
I love how Halo could be a much more complicated game with a fantastic storyline laid out by the books. Then all that potential of back story is barely used. Atleast it looks like they are trying now, though it is kinda late.
I mean I knew the Chief was big and everything but god damn is he massive.

Atleast it looks like they are trying now, though it is kinda late.
The story for Halo 4 is tied into the newer books at least, with the origin and motivation for the Covenant splinters you'll be fighting revealed in them, as well as the state of the post-war UNSC and how it's affecting the fractured races of the Covenant. Of course, it also has to revert the creation of the SPARTAN-IIs from an ethically dubious 'what had to be done to end the fighting' into a 'OH MY GOD SHE KIDNAPPED CHILDREN AND THAT IS TERRIBLE' item despite just how much they served when needed. Basically, without the structure of the Covenant tying the various races strengths and weaknesses together, humanity is in the top-rung not through massive forces or supply bases, but because A: They can support themselves, even after all the hits they've taken. B: They have the 'Engineers', the creatures the Covenant used to support all their technology, and they're letting them innovate not just imitate. C: For some reason during the war the UNSC Navy spent 50% of their budget on building a superhueg warship that is only ready after the war ends. So their first deployment of it is to swat a few insurrectionists for the Arbiter on the Sangheli homeworld, cue Elite bricks being shat. I don't understand the last one either, but it makes sense why humanity lost if they could've had a 50% bigger navy. :v: Oh, and ONI is playing sneaky-buggers and acting as gun-runner for various ex-Covenant elements to mess things up further within the once-Covenant empire.
Anyone got the link to the video? All the links in the thread are dead.
Hooray, now I don't have to shell out another 60$.
would have preferred if they posted on a different video source what were they expecting posting on youtube
I think I've found another source: http://www.cinemablend.com/games/Halo-4-Legendary-Ending-Video-Reveals-Master-Chief-Face-48114.html Ending at the bottom of the page. Third page also has [sp] master chief taking off his helm[/sp]

I think people are going to be mad at the ending. There are halo fans who Cortana is basically their waifu, and they killed her. Shame you spend all this time bringing her back to earth to have her possibly fixed, and she dies.
