Sound of Silence - a horror game that plays on the phobias of the player

Oh god, I hope it doesn't have giant insects like those ones from Unreal, they make my skin crawl.
I like what he was doing with the music, but it would have to be a lot more subtle in the final version. Rather than start so quickly, it needs to be really quiet and just build up over like, half an hour so that it presses in all around you.
Then, when the horror part comes in (i.e. pit, turn around to go back) the sound just cuts out. So you'll suddenly notice the complete silence rather than the ambient noise you weren't consciously paying attention to.
Please contact the guy, give him your ideas.
static scares me, and being stuck in a cave...
like that cave part in dragon age...ugh...

But in all seriousness, I am more afraid about what could be in 'the dark', rather than 'the dark' itself. It's more worse when I know that if I get up in the night, the first thing I have to see is my mirror. I'm not afraid of mirrors, but when it's dark? fuck that.
One thing that I hate about the dark is how my eyes always seem to make things change shapes. Once I woke up to a weird screeching noise, only to see a shadowy figure staring me down that then changed shapes back into my fan. Needless to say I didn't sleep again for a good hour or so.
This idea is awesome, I would definitely play this. I'm sure you could find some people to help you on Facepunch.
Man, those unfinished walls really creeped me the fuck out. I'm never scared by environments that seem refined, or broken after being refined. Something actually never being made is a fear factor of mine, maybe you should keep going with that sort of thing. I wasn't really a big fan of the blood writing on the ground, seemed cheesy and the foreshadowing for danger isn't subtle enough. But otherwise, the idea is genius and nice job putting the video together, even without sufficient game-making skills.
And here I thought I was the only one.
For me, I love space, planets and all that jazz.
But there is something really terrifying about the sheer size of Planets.
I've had dreams where I would look into the sky and all I would see are giant planets so close, I'd have panic attacks in-dream.
I have this too.
Whenever I have a clear night sky I look at shit with my telescope while simultaneously reading Wikipedia entries about the universe and the like, then when I go to sleep I can't stop thinking about the sheer size of well, everything, and how much stuff is out there that could destroy us in a split second. It's fucking terrifying.

I'm not afraid of mass, immediate death. I'm afraid of a torturous death.

It's not the immediate death that scares, if anything happened we wouldn't even notice. What scares me is how insignificant we are in the context of the universe.

its the same people in the pic 40+ years later.
fucking badass.
The problem I see is determining what a person's fears are based on movement, and view tracking.
It would inevitably lead to a single stage that would always be the same and would probably be easily manipulated.
