L4D - Run and gun, little strategy, team work is needed..
Killing Floor - Survival, lot of strategizing (AKA Barricading, conserving ammo, etc.), heavy team work is necessary to survival..

It's not that fucking speical, L4D is better made than this is!
:facepalm: Left 4 dead requires minimal teamwork, it is more run and gun, hell, it came out after this game, Way after Killing Floor, Killing floor was a kickass total conversion mod for UT4 that came out in 2005. Tripwire gained the rights to it and they made it a stand alone game, they also fixed a few glitches with it, Left 4 Dead isn't that impressive, mowing down hundreds of "infected" is fun, but that in itself is a tad bit unrealistic, they needed to level the playing field a bit more and give the infected a little more variety and health. All of you singing the praises of L4D need to at least try Killing Floor first before you shoot your prepubescent mouths off about how bad it will suck. I really want this game badly because the multiplayer aspect of Left 4 Dead has grown quite stale.

i totaly agree with you, but i never play the game, but thats next on my to do list. Left 4 dead i got so bored with it cause, i played 2 weeks straight (<-----see what i did there XD, arhm "2 weeks after the infection, get it? ok no...) and it was very repitive.

I can't say that either side of the argument is the right one because we're arguing about an impossible scenario either way and neither games aim to be "realistic." Hell, L4D takes on a movie standpoint. Killing Floor is just a good old zombie shoot-em-up with a crapload of guns and zombie types.
I'm contemplating getting this, and why are people thinking this game has shitty graphics?? IT LOOKS AWESOME. And another thing, gameplay > graphics you tards... If graphics actually mattered, then I wouldn't be playing the original DooM still now would I?

Even if they were very similar, L4D would be considered a ripoff of Killing Floor as stated before.
Anybody on the fence about this: get it. It's amazing, I just played for about 4 hours. It is extremely intense, and there is quite a bit of strategy involved.
