Right, whatever
Sounds to me like you're just really bad and can't tell when to attack a tank and when to hide from it.
Why did he even bother putting battlefield 3 and mw3 on the list if he doesn't take multiplayer into consideration...?
I mean who even buys those games just to play singleplayer.
[editline]11th January 2012[/editline]
these two games are the worst games of the year because they put most of their focus into multiplayer and not singleplayer!!!
You know considering he only plays the singleplayer, I think he's right in saying that the BF3/MW3 singleplayer is one of the worst rehashed experiences of the year. We can all enjoy the multiplayer but that's no excuse for making such a terrible singleplayer. I was genuinely thinking the BF3 singleplayer would be something new, before I played it. In the end it was a giant letdown.

Seems to me you're new to games and don't understand when something is OP
or a BF3 fanboy

It's not OP when it's really easy to avoid.
hitting my head against a rock here
To be honest, this year had many great titles so I'm disappointed all I hear is Skyrim and Portal 2.

Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds
Killzone 3
Bulletstorm
Mortal Kombat
Portal 2
L.A. Noire
inFamous 2
Duke Nukem Forever
Bastion
Deus Ex: Human Revolution
Rage
Dark Souls
Batman: Arkham City
Battlefield 3
Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Saints Row: The Third
Star Wars: The Old Republic

Seems to me like you're awful at arguing. No surprises since "v2" in username is usually a mark of a 'good' poster.
That hurts my feelings

Thank you for proving my point.
Not surprised MW3 and BF3 got on to the worst games list, they were both honestly hilariously bad and paled in comparison to their appropriate predecessors.
Thank you for proving my point.
I just wanted to say why I liked BC2 better than BF3, and I provided reasons why, no 'lack of skill' or 'bad arguing' was involved
No need to be an asshole
Seems like that's what you're good at though
How did Portal 2 get first.
As much as I love the storytelling, co-op, and puzzles, I played it for about 10 hours and I never want to play it again. It has no replay value. I honestly don't see why people enjoy to the point that it was the best game of 2011.
why is replay value relevant
i've played skyrim for over 150 hours but it still did not give me as much joy as 10 hours in portal 2 did. in fact i haven't even completed the MQ yet.

Personally, I found the singleplayer of Bad Company 2 to be a lot better than BF3's - if anything I connected much more with Preston, Sweetwater, Haggard and Sarge. As for BF3, well, I haven't even touched the singleplayer past the first three levels.
If we're talking multiplayer, then BF3 is the winner. Everything I liked about BC2's multiplayer is both back and refined.

I value re-playability and the overall length of the game higher than most other aspects.
why

I enjoy battlefield 3 then most other FPS games out there.

Sounds to me like you can't handle people's opinions about a video game you like.

"Something is overpowered" is not really opinion.

"More upgrades than it's predecessor" being the opinion for why it's not as good and I'm inclined to agree, the amount of time spent having to grind tank unlocks to simply be as good as other tank drivers who have played 20/40/60/80 hours is ridiculous.
Though it's not entirely DICE's fault, I know they have to have gratuitous MMORPG grinding elements to sell games in this ADD addled culture gaming has become.

Except you don't really need the upgrades and they take barely any time to get. I got the first 5 or so from just sometimes jumping into the gunner seat of a tank.
You don't *need* the upgrades like you don't *need* a 10% increase in survivability or rate of fire, but it's still an advantage.
Also just got CITV station after 90 hours of play, woo.

That's the point, it helps, but you don't need to be able to do as well as other tank players. And as I said, they take so little time to unlock that if you do actually use a tank, you'll get the main ones in a few rounds.
I'm ok with the list.
But, to be honest, I enjoyed indie games like Super Meat Boy, Magicka, Binding of Isaac, Dungeon Defenders and Terraria more than AAA++ titles.
I have to say, as much as I enjoy ZP, this list felt kind of rushed. Like he just named the games off the top of his head. I can see why he dislikes Dead Island so much, but The Cartel was far worse (Not to mention just downright offensive), and the placements of all the games on the list just seem more random than anything. Just my two cents, though.
Also, isn't this like the third or fourth thread where simkas has gotten into a mostly off-topic argument about Battlefield 3?
You can only have 3 of them on at a time and none of them make the tank indestructible. You just have to change the way you go against the tank depending on what he has on, which makes the gameplay more varied and thus better.
BF3 isn't very "newb friendly", get someone that has been playing the game since it's come out, and someone that's just started and put them both in jets. Oh look, the one that has been playing longer will take down the newb in seconds. And it isn't even down to skill, the newb has no flares, the fight isn't fair and the only way he's ever going to get flares is killing people, which isn't possible because he gets shot down by heat seekers. All of the vehicles should have been identical, like in BF2, T-90 vs Abrahms was an identical fight, whoever had the most skill would of won. None of this bullshit "I have reactive armour so im gonna beat you" made the game a lot more fairer.
Personally, I found Dead Island decent. Nothing remarkable or incredibly good, but it's easy to have fun with it.
And I thought Driver: San Francisco sucked. It had a poor storyline and nothing really special about it. Don't get me wrong, I love racing games, but I feel like they didn't explore it to it's full potential and that every mission was basically the same thing over and over.

Poor storyline? The story was really original, really well written and had great dialogue.
Is anyone else still having problems accessing the video? Could someone that does have access rip it and upload it somewhere?

Yeah, sure.
