Your dating "preferences" are discriminatory | Riley J. Dennis

The default is me not wanting to fuck you. No one is entitled to sex not that it matters because I'm a permanvirgin anyways lmao.
not wanting to date/fuck everyone you see makes you a racist, sexist prude!
I think people are deserving of basic respect, regardless (like that post calling large people "landwhales" is unnecessarily rude imo) but no one should be expected to be attracted to EVERYONE.
I myself am physically (though invisibly) and mentally disabled and am of a mind that I want to adopt in the future because my disability would make being pregnant extremely hard for me but I've always been up front about that to my boyfriend. Definitely not about to expect people to drop their expectations for their futures in order to find me attractive.
When it comes to people of different races, I don't think you're discriminatory for never being attracted to one but I do think it's discriminatory to label them all as unattractive as a general concept. That kinda just goes with the respect deal.
The older I get the more respect I have for people even if we don't mesh well. I don't foresee myself ever dating a trans person myself but I'm not about to say that doing so would disgust me or that I find the idea appalling or anything.
Idk. Just be nice to people if they haven't done anything to you. It's not a hard concept.
I do think this person has a point somewhere within this video. Giving a clear-cut "I would NEVER date a black/fat/trans person" is pretty ridiculous when you consider how varied the individuals are within those designations. Now I dont think you should ever shame anyone for not being attracted to black/fat/trans people, for instance, but it seems fairly closed-minded to me to just outright say that you arent nor could you ever be attracted to one.
Sexuality is so hard topic nowadays. I feel like the new genders stuff is a way to create content to life and a way to get into unnecessary arguments. Some of these are ridiculous, like
Affectugender: a gender that is affected by mood swings.
I feel its like the vegan thing, "Hey everyone my gender is Affectugender."
I can understand transgender being real but this...
I thought actual transgenders despise the tumblrites who do this shit with the more than two genders because it belittles the actual gender dysphoria and takes away credibility from the issue.
the only preference i have is don't be ugly
I am sick of these SJWs.
I am bisexual myself, and I think that SJWs are hurting gay rights all over the world, especially in the middle-east.
It was already hard enough to bring up the topic of gay rights in Arab countries without some idiot screaming "ALLAH FORBIDS IT!!!11". Now, if you bring up gay rights, people will shut you up by calling you a "crazy SJW". Thanks to SJWs, now you can't even make a discussion about gay rights.
SJWs have harmed the LGBTQ movement more than anyone else.
I know that what I posted is a bit off-topic, but I am just fed up with these SJWs who are harming liberals all over the world with their very extreme views.
Quite frankly I think its outright delusional to think that "SJWs" have literally any impact on LGBT rights in the middle east
Thanks to SJWs, now you can't even make a discussion about gay rights.
brah you what
Well at least I now know that one of my preferences is for people whos face is central on their skull.

My preference for a woman is to not have a 5oclock shadow
discriminatory for me was growing up in a really small white town and being told that being brown was ugly and having white people growing up telling me "I just don't find any Indians very attractive" among other generalizations I had to deal with hearing about East Asians, black people, etc..
I think there's a discussion to be had about how media effects implicit biases we carry in society in regards to skin color, I know for me it was really hard for a long time to come to terms with how I look and feel. I moved to Houston however and haven't felt that way in years, and it's been a lot better.
just don't generalize entire races/sexual orientations and try to insinuate they're somehow inferior because they don't meet your preferences and we're all going to be fine
I'd rather die alone than be forced to be with someone I'm not attracted to. My preferences are my own, if someone has a problem with it then they can keep it to themselves.
I can't make myself fuck a person I have absolutely zero interests in. Not only would that be uncomfortable for me, but it would devastate the other person to know there isn't actually any love in the relationship. That is far more cruel than outright saying no instead.
preferences seem kinda silly to me to keep track of quite frankly, like everyone has them to some extent i guess but human beings are so unique on a fundamental level that you're probably going to end up attracted to someone without them checking all of your individual boxes for your perfect mate
they just arent something i've ever actively thought about or kept track of tbh

These insults are completely unnecessary and childish.
These insults are completely unnecessary and childish.
Well sure they are those things but they are also funny
Here's one more: I'm just not sexually attracted to discount Max Landis
These people always talk about how men are entitled to sex, while at the same time talking about how THEY'RE entitled to it instead. Like, what.
Well sure they are those things but they are also funny
if jokes at the expense of trans people are your idea of funny then you probably dont have the best sense of humor
if jokes at the expense of trans people are your idea of funny then you probably dont have the best sense of humor
Technically some cis women have a lot of facial hair, and have to shave it and can wind up with 5 o clock shadow

This just in: Facepunch Forums User Duck M. decides that if you joke at anyones expense ever, you shouldnt, because its not actually funny even if you think it is.
Editors note: Comedy Expert Duck M. has also likely never seen a single stand up comedy special in his entire life, or a single comedy movie, or comedic anything.

Jokes at the expense of anyone is my idea of funny

Excuse me for criticizing you over making a vague, broad, objective statement about a subjective topic thats specifics can vary wildly between person to person.
How terrible i am.

I think it's a bit different if the group you're making fun of is actually currently at an insanely disadvantaged place in society, and the joke is them existing.
It's like mocking somebody who is retarded for "talking like a retard".

You'd have a point if thats what the joke was.

My joke was that she looked like Max Landis. Other joke was that she had a 5'oclock shadow.
These jokes are honestly pretty tame imo

theres a pretty big difference between a consenting, non-discriminatory jab and a joke at the expense of a notably discriminated against minority purely because of them existing. i'm sick of the idea where being bigoted against people is ok because "bluhhh its just how comedy is!!!" because that's really not the case
you have to have an actual joke thats not just "hahaha they're trans!!"
theres a pretty big difference between a consenting, non-discriminatory jab and a joke at the expense of a notably discriminated against minority purely because of them being of that minority. i'm sick of the idea where being bigoted against people is ok because "bluhhh its just how comedy is!!!" because that's really not the case.
I truly don't believe humour can exist without being at someones expense.

Comedy is subjective and extremely dark topics such as horrific genocides, rape, serial murder, can all be turned into the punchline of a joke and have it work, simply saying that you cant do a joke about X because it "nuh uh no no dont it might be mean" is fucking dumb.
you have to have an actual joke thats not just "hahaha they're trans!!"
Please quote who said this.
No, really, quote it.
[editline]4th December 2016[/editline]
No really who the fuck is being bigoted, what are you talking about.
I truly don't believe humour can exist without being at someones expense.
i dont really get where this is a response to what i said, i think that humor at someone elses expense is fine when all parties are consenting and it isnt going to harm the recipient of the joke. It all depends on context, and 99% of the time jokes at a trans persons expense really isnt acceptable all things considered

God help us all if we ever fall to such depths as to have to sign consent forms to rib on people.
It all depends on context, and 99% of the time jokes at a trans persons expense really isnt acceptable all things considered
Is that actually the case or is it just you being overly sensitive about jokes.
I think context is a big thing. I mean hell I find jokes about suicide, depression, self harming etc. hilarious. But uh, I'm not going to post a meme about those on the obituary of someone who killed himself or even say that stuff to strangers.
The 5 o'clock shadow thing was kind of just out of nowhere and pretty mean-spirited. And when you go to a stand-up comedy show, you expect that sort of stuff so it works out great. And fuck I'll say some pretty horrible stuff among friends (appropriate to the context, even disgusting transphobic shit with one of my trans friends, who self-deprecates as well) and we're all good because we're all on the same page and are taking part of it, just like if you're watching a comedian.
Though this is also facepunch and we're known to be pretty ~crass~ here so Iunno.

I have never consented to people making fun of me, yet it happened, no one came to my defense, no one helped, yet as soon as a person isn't a white male, it's about consent?
Please.
