Also learned how it feels like to be treated differently for being attractive, both the good and bad.

But preferences and standars are pretty damn awesome.
Where would humanity be if we'd propagate without any discretion for the other persons genetics.

If I were to have children I'd preferably have children with someone non-white, purely out of pragmatic reasons. Like wanting my child to have a lesser chance of inheriting my worse physical traits.

I have preferences in people I look for, but if someone outside of those preferences expresses interest in me I'm not going to snub my nose at them simply because they lie outside those. Things can always change, from what I've been through, and maybe my preferences will as well if I try it out. But I don't go my way out of to figure that out.

There are people that don't find certain races appealing. Others find that too much or too little body fat can be a turn off. Some find transgendered people unattractive. Folks with disabilities may also be a turnoff. These are factors that some of us consider important in finding a significant other. And the fact is if you aren't attracted to someone for one of these reasons then you aren't attracted to them. There's nothing wrong with it as long as you aren't an ass to those you don't want to bone with.

Therefore your spank bank should be just fine.
