Makes no sense for them to replace BJ's entire body considering his legs are whats wrong, not his body. The demo showcases a segment where he's killing Nazi's in a wheelchair. So it's just the legs that may be paralyzed.
to be fair, he could get even more fucked up later in the game
So is this an alternate storyline?
So is this an alternate storyline?
Don't think too much about Wolfenstein plot, the more you think about how the games fit together, the more confused you'll get
Don't think too much about Wolfenstein plot, the more you think about how the games fit together, the more confused you'll get
Isn't it RTCW>2009>Old Blood>New Order>Colossus ? What's so complicated about it ?
Isn't it RTCW>2009>Old Blood>New Order>Colossus ? What's so complicated about it ?
The huge continuity errors make it complicated. Wolfenstein's plot philosophy is very much in line with John Carmack's old "game and porn plot" principle, at least as much as modern game design allows it. The games aren't about stories, they're about killing the undead, the nazis, robots, and the undead nazi cyborgs

Caroline Becker persisted despite her death in Wolf09, and some events in RTCW and Wolf3D are referenced while other aspects of the games wouldn't and won't fit in the new storyline at all. aka don't think too much about it

You'll see the recurring characters and remember some of the events and it'll sorta "fit" that way but it's obviously another timeline when you think about it. If it wasn't for TNO's writing and world building i frankly would've found it mediocre, the nazi killing was the least entertaining part of it to me because the gunplay and particularly the gore weren't that amazing.
Fergus with a robotic arm, BJ with possibly no legs... I think it's safe to assume what is going on here. Pretty sure BJ has normal legs though.
Eh? But TNO was very plot driven. The story was a big part of the game.
I wouldn't say it was "very" plot driven, but that's just my opinion. It had interesting characters, but I barely even remember what the plot was about at this point.

Like PressFartToContiue and other weirdoes. Thought they went extinct or something.
Nah, it's used to kill Caroline Becker, Frau Engel makes that fat lady behind her axe her, or tries to anyway. Pretty sure BJ has normal legs though.
[sp]Makes sense that you get to use her exo-suit then.[/sp]
Funnily enough when it happens here in the trailer, [sp]Wyatt is there instead.[/sp]
Aye, it's probably right at the beginning of the game, and when you start a new game you choose one of them to be alive (or if they make it possible to load a save state from TNO).
[sp]Makes sense that you get to use her exo-suit then.[/sp]
Well it his her lying next to BJ in that scene, most easily recognizable through the tattoo on her arm, being identical to the one in TNO (albeit in TNO it's on her left arm, and in that scene it's on her right, though maybe that scene is mirrored for whatever reason?).
The entire comments section is full of these people, what the actual fuck. Half of them are saying this game Jewish/commie/anti-white propaganda, and most of them are saying the game 'portrays the Nazis in a bad light.' These people have gotta be trolls.
It's probably because of the recent Far Cry nontroversy. Now to look for a German trailer because this one's blocked here (for obvious reasons, but still). I'm surprised the previews load.
If you find a German trailer can you link it here? I want to see the censorship
Here you go.
I didn't realize it at first but theirs a segment in the trailer where your moving around in a wheel chair killing Nazi's This is gonna be amazing
Well the symbols that they used for censorship at least look kind of cool. The last game just slapped the Wolfenstein Logo on everything. [editline]13th June 2017[/editline] They cut out the entire scene in the Diner in the German trailer.

It completely destroys the atmosphere. It's like that scene in Inglorious Basterds where someone is translating from German to German in the German version. I've been boycotting G2A for ages now, but they will probably be the only way to get the good version of Wolfenstein in Austria.
I've been boycotting G2A for ages now, but they will probably be the only way to get the good version of Wolfenstein in Austria.
I thought you couldn't activate the English version? Or is that only in Germany directly?
I like Wolfeinstein because it's right at the SR2 level where characters, plot, and storyline still feel real enough to matter, but with plenty of whacky and funny lighthearted action.
Funnily enough when it happens here in the trailer, [sp]Wyatt is there instead.[/sp]
Well yeah and also [sp]Wyatt's dropping acid at the end of the trailer[/sp] So the option carries over from TNO, they both get their face burnt by something, then [sp]Fergus gets a limb chopped off and Wyatt gets a drug addiction or something[/sp]
According to one of the developers, Wyatt was popping drugs and experimenting with them for a while, him seeing that cartoon chameleon wasn't an instant reaction. Also actually adding the chameleon was change they made later in development, originally you just saw he reacting to nothing.

The amount of comments everywhere complaining that the nazis are the good guys who dindu nuffin is legitimately depressing When is this shit going to end
I bet a lot of them are just trolls.
