For sure most of them are, but I'm fed up even with that
Well the symbols that they used for censorship at least look kind of cool.
The last game just slapped the Wolfenstein Logo on everything.

They cut out the entire scene in the Diner in the German trailer.
Am I the only one who thinks the Wolfenstein logo on stuff feels the same like the swatiskas?
Am I the only one who thinks the Wolfenstein logo on stuff feels the same like the swatiskas?
Why?
I bet a lot of them are just trolls.
/pol/ moved from Irony to legit neonazism years ago. The alt right spams the comments of everything, so dont be surprised if it is legit
Am I the only one who thinks the Wolfenstein logo on stuff feels the same like the swatiskas?
In a sense that it looks intidimating to you?

It's supposed to.
So about all those legs talk, here's interesting player shadow on the doors:

at least one of bj's children will be okay. we still need a commander keen reboot

The very fact that it's obviously there solely because some stupid law prohibits them from showing what they mean to show (and writing what they mean to write) makes it cringeworthy to me, no matter how atmospheric the replacements are.
A video with dev narration and some new shots.

FYI we use the 'Doom' Megathread for Wolfenstein talk in the General games subforum.
Well, there goes my money again...
that malfunctioning cyber arm scene must be a reference to that one spazzing baby feeding robot
all I want is for BJ to have an actual mental breakdown
Max Payne's temper tantrums were the best part of the game

just uncontrollable rage
I see the cutscenes are still pre-rendered at 30 FPS, that's a shame.
As someone who grew up with all kinds of fast-paced shooting games, I feel like I must have shit eyes or something because I have no idea how people see the difference.

30FPS is smooth but feels jerkier overall compared to 60, it's more noticeable in fast-paced games
If you've played console games for a good ammount of time you're probably less sensitive to this stuff

when playing a game at 30 and suddenly getting it up to 60 it almost instantly feels noticable unless you have a 30hz screen for some reason
comparable thing is going from 60 to 120hz/fps, it's instantly wicked smooth

you'll notice ingame when it switches from fluid to janky in a single second when you go from gameplay to cutscene.
i wish we can betray them instead
So basically you wish you could join the nazi's
I mean as shit as communists are you want to side with literally nazi's
ok then

unless he somehow set his monitor to 30hz without realizing it of course
or his computer just CAN'T handle above 30
I'm not even sure how people could even pretend to be surprised that there are communists and such in a anti-Nazi resistance movement. It's almost like the resistance is full of people that Nazis actively targeted or something.

It makes historical sense, too. Anti-Communism in the U.S. wasn't really a huge, huge thing until years after WW2. Considering they lost the war in the Wolfenstein universe, and that there was decent representation of communists and socialists in America, it's perfectly reasonable.
I mean, shit, FDR was president. Eugene V Debs got almost 6% of the popular vote in 1912. Socialism wasn't dragged through the mud in this universe - you should bet your ass there'd be socialists in rebel groups against actual nazi occupation.
Hey, when America said "Better dead than red" it wasn't like "I have read the terms and conditions" or "Of course I love you, no matter your size".
communists proved to be some of the strongest anti-nazi fighters in the real world too. see: french resistance, greek resistance, yugoslavian resistance. it became a problem post-war when the western allies realized they had to prevent a communist revolution in these countries.
Allying with communists is just continuing the theme of buddying up with everything the nazis hate
I think it is hilarious because it makes the nazis in Wolfenstein hypocritics
I guess, and not to be a Nazi apologist or anything, but that's the part that felt shoehorned in. I'm not one to scream "sjw" every time someone isn't pasty white, but that felt kind of eh. I liked the trope better when it was just Nazis discovering spooky shit and using it to advance their technology, like how the premise originally was in Wolfenstein.

That still happened, it just didn't work very well so they abandoned it.
Why would it not work well, it was bloody excellent. Mysticism beats high tech/sci-fi any day imo

Wolfenstein 2009 would beg to differ

I completely disagree. Silly, fun technobabble > "spooky magic energies" anyday.
Wolfenstein 2009 would beg to differ
Don't you mean Wolfenstein: Black Sun?

I meant in the story.
Every time the Nazis tried something with magic it failed horribly for them. Mostly because of BJ screwing them over.
