The only really difficult thing about this is getting the fuel air mixture correct.
It isn't, for a few reasons: 1. Explosion is impossible. The cans are open on the bottom, meaning compression of the gas--and therefore uncontrolled explosion--is not possible under normal circumstances. 2. Empty barrels The barrels are empty, meaning they weigh very little and have comparitively high surface area for wind resistance. There are more reasons, but I thought I'd outline these.
1 you do realize that the explosion is the thing propelling it right?
http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/explosion ex·plo·sion [ik-sploh-zhuhn] Show IPA noun 1.an act or instance of exploding; a violent expansion or bursting with noise, as of gunpowder or a boiler (opposed to implosion ). 2.the noise itself: The loud explosion woke them. 3.a violent outburst, as of laughter or anger. 4.a sudden, rapid, or great increase: a population explosion. 5.the burning of the mixture of fuel and air in an internal-combustion engine.
2. if the barrels hit you from that distance it'll hurt like a bitch 3. Fire is hot. Gas can also leak.
3. Fire is hot and burns things
This is wrong because the fires are too small and too short to transfer enough energy to cause damage in this case.

There's exceptions, but thats when your standing away from it / not messing around with it.

But over wet grass it's not going to do anything.
