Alright, I still don't really like the Jokers design but Leto looks like he's gonna be awesome
Also they name dropped the film in the actual trailer. What
Batman:This is like a... Dawn of Justice
Batman:This is like a... Dawn of Justice
no cant be that obvious.
cop 1: "oh man, it's batman vs. superman"
cop 2: "it's the DAWN OF JUSTICE"
How does the timeline work in this? There's a line here "Maybe Superman was some kind of beacon for them to creep out of the shadows". But Batman v Superman is 3,5 years max since Man of Steel, so The Joker had like 1,5 years to do some evil stuff, mess with Batman and apparently kill Robin (shown in the trailer)?
I mean it's comicbook time, but still feels like a stretch
I really like this Joker, he seems seriously crazy and creepy while also having this weird psycho charm.
It'd be so much better if the whole entire advertising and marketing for this movie wasn't the Joker and Jared's performance. Reading headlines like "Will Jared's Joker beat Ledgers?" and "Suicide Squad Cast depressed" is so fucking nauseating, like why does it matter
"Wow! Jared Leto mails anthrax to co-stars in latest Suicide Squad movie, crews fears for his health, click here for more!"
Alright, I still don't really like the Jokers design but Leto looks like he's gonna be awesome
I'm sure most of the time he will be fully clothed.

I like Will Smith tons, I really like him as an actor, but he's just not the "criminal" archtype when it comes to his characters
"So we're some sort of Suicide Squad..."
didn't they call it that in the comics though? I think they did in Arrow.
I didn't read the comics though so I wouldn't know.
Still saying Jared's gonna kill the Joker performance

I was expecting Will Smith to glare at the camera after name dropping the title
this movie was shit but at least they got this right
Wasn't so sure about the Joker previously, but now I'm sure Leto will do a good job. Lookin' forward to this!
?
How.
Pale skin, silver teeth, shirtless, only difference is the tattoos and the hair.
I can hear him screaming "WITNESS ME BATMAN" already.

I think Batman was active before Man of Steel in this universe, and was retired during it.

Well i mean, he's only going to be shirtless in like one scene, and he's always had pale skin.
Oh god, Margot Robbie is the one playing Harley Quinn, hype.
-snip-
Harley quinns outfit looks fucking stupid
I can hear him screaming "WITNESS ME BATMAN" already.
You say that like it wouldn't be awesome.

Maybe they will add filler movies...
So the Joker has fillings instead of a grill. Well its better that way, makes Batffleck seem more intimidating when he breaks peoples teeth
And if you're wondering what I mean Jared's teeth look majorly fucked up in that thumbnail
Doesn't it make a little sense (at least comic-wise) when you think of [sp]Barbara Gordon breaking Joker's teeth in Birds of Prey?[/sp] I dunno, just throwing theories here.

Good point. Assuming that Batffleck has been at this for years, if not decades, already, Joker being tatted up during extensive prison time makes sense as well, supposing there is no sort of asylum.
despite what people said about Leto playing Joker, he looks insane in the trailer
Don't think he'll live up to heath ledgers screen performance but I think he will do ok
I'm still not entirely convinced. Something feels off, yet I can't exactly tell what.
They can't be good guys that we root for because then what's the point in Batman and Superman fighting them in the sequels but Hollywood won't make a movie with protagonists we can't root for because Hollywood. I mean, we saw Deadshot hugging a girl, who I presume, was his daughter. It's gonna feel weird knowing that Batman is beating the shit out of a guy who's had struggles, done some bad things, but also has a daughter and has saved many lives in his time in the Suicide Squad.

We've had 4 good Joker's so far. Hamill, Ledger, Nicholson and Romero. This might be OK.

I'm an outlier on Ledger's Joker. I have to admire the performance itself, because that itself was bafflingly amazing. But as a Joker? It... Felt wrong. He felt less like a Joker, and like a generic psychopath with a Joker colourscheme.
This Joker reminds me a little bit of DiMaggios, though.

I thought Dimaggio was a good Joker. :(
Leto's joker feels like he's playing Johnny Depp playing the Joker. Robbie's Harley feels like she's playing Helena Bonham Carter playing Harley. Has anyone else noticed?
If they were going to write a Depp Joker and a Carter Harley, why not just cast Depp and Carter?
no dude pls I don't want to look at helena bonham carter in sexy get up

It seems that until MOS, Batman had long been retired. He'd generally speaking, won the war on crime in Gotham.
Supermans existence causes the death of people he cares about, the joker taunts him from jail(which is where he also is in this film) which causes him to start doing his thing again. 3 or so years later and we're at Batman V Superman. Batmans no doubt been active and been getting back into the world he left, and the Suicide Squad film likely falls in this 3 year window.

Hamill will always be the best joker in my eyes, if he was younger it would've been great to see him in a movie.
