I'm surpised he didn't destroy his consoles as well.
I'm sure the 'Prophet' would prefer it if he sold the games and donated the earnings to the mosque or whatever the fuck they go to.
Amazing show of self control and wish to regain his life, unlike all the virgins in this thread justifying that he is "crazy" for realizing the stupidity and time waste of video games.
Hey, but he's "crazy!" (dream on, nerds.)
actually i find it crazy to play 6+ hours of video games everyday

Regain his life? doing what? Just going to be bored out of his mind as anything enjoyable is a sin. Why? due to fear and nothing else. He obviously bought those games as he enjoys them, now he's wasting his life.
If he has already participated in the certain evils that media brings, then why would Allah be so forgiving just because he stops abruptly?
Have Muslims declared Jihad on games? Find out the shocking conclusion on this week's Hannity.
Why do you care? It's his games.
You're just looking for a reason to bitch about it.

Well Islam teaches that it's never too late to stop something abruptly as long as you genuinely have the intention of stopping it for good.
So videogames are bad, youtube is ok?
Today is a sad day, how could he split 'Some pics' in half...? (1:04)

Fuck off cunt, don't act like some sort of superior human you angsty brat. I know people like you, I used to be like you, but you are not superior to anyone, if someone enjoys video games, no matter how much, there is nothing wrong with it, at least they aren't hateful and insulting fucks like you.

anime avatar
He could've sent that to me, what the hell.
playing games are okay as long as you don't become addicted to them, and they dont distract you from prayer, thats what my imam told me.
I hope hes right and he lives happily in the afterlife with his God. I personally think its too much of a risk that I may be wrong and lose the one life I have, but more power to him.

holy shit how mad can you get about some guy breaking his games lol
playing games are okay as long as you don't become addicted to them, and they dont distract you from prayer, thats what my imam told me.
Yeah maybe but then there's the matter of what influence they have on you. Humans are sponges for ideas and culture and video games give the same influence as anything else. If they're worried about becoming too much influenced by one culture or whatever, maybe a good idea to limit it and get interested in other things more in line with things they approve of.
The guy in the video seems to think that any external influence is wrong, a stupid puritan view by any standard. Anyone who actually wishes for the betterment of it will accept new things as they help their own view grow. In moderation obviously so you are not swamped and lose your own sense of self, but new ideas, wherever they come from stimulate growth.
Um, wouldn't it be better if you just sold the games and donated the money to a charity?
but then he wouldn't get to break stuff
I really don't see why no one can respect other peoples beliefs
I really don't see why no one can respect other peoples beliefs
Care to explain?
Most of the thread is just calling him a fool.
He could've just put them in the microwave, probably would've been slightly more entertaining.
I really don't see why no one can respect other peoples beliefs
When the religion brainwashes you and prevents you from thinking rationally, it crosses the line. Of course what this brainwashed individual is doing is more of an extreme example. A normal thinking person would just think "Hey my religion doesn't like the idea of video games, I will just stop playing them and sell/give them to someone not of my religion." not what this guy is pretty much doing "VIDEO GAMES ARE THE DEVIL TRYING TO POUR EVIL INTO US, MUST DESTROY ALL OF THEM! ALLAH ACKBAR!".
He could've just put them in the microwave, probably would've been slightly more entertaining.
But having a microwave is a sin.
Have Muslims declared Jihad on games? Find out the shocking conclusion on this week's Hannity.
At least that would get conservatives to support games.
Hey guys look on the bright side, at least they're mostly console games, eh?
:v:
Islam consists of five pillars.
One of them is known as alms, which requires any follower of Islam to be as charitable as possible if they have the means.
He could have given these games away to someone less fortunate, but instead he broke them, ruining any chance of good almsgiving.
He broke nearly $1,000 worth of games.
He's a heretic.

A video game is still a video game, no matter what system it's played on.
