So, the audio is done based on the finished visuals rather than the opposite, and because of that they can't match mouth movements with precision

The weirdest cases of sidemouth I've seen are a few times where they [I]still animate the lips and jaw moving[/I] but keep the sidemouth completely detached, thus defeating the entire point of budget saving.

I don't understand why you'd adapt something with so many complex battle scenes if you can't afford to animate them. I loved the films though. Despite some obvious CGI, I thought the visuals were breathtaking.

I legit think he puts out some the most intricately and finely crafted stuff in manga, but it's clearly taking a toll on him. As for the soundtrack, you can never go wrong with some Susumu Hirasawa. I watched almost all of it despite not understanding much. I feel like watching it again now.
