It is actually a good thing to put on, because it shows dedication and whatnot. I am not sure you have ever seen a resume (I am picturing a 16 yearold) but all the ones I have filled out have some sort of section for talents/skills/interests.
ahahaahaha
i know you are trolling, but just for arguments sake (you are horrible at this) there are skills that aren't related to work you know.
video gaming is not a skill, but video games take and potentially improve the skills i have listed previously and more

I can agree with that last statement. Vidya can get you better at hand eye co-ordination and what not.

Nice 180.

Applying a skill to something does not make something a skill.
I also use hand-eye coordination for picking up a glass of water and drinking it. Does that mean drinking water is now a skill?

your original statement is that video games don't require skill
picking up a glass of water and drinking it, believe it or not, does require skill.

By definition, yes, it is a skill. Just not a very significant skill.
This just in, MW3 free weekend starting 4/20.
Would be some serious genius from Activision.

Drinking a glass of water is now a skill? Sweet! I am gonna start the WDL (Water Drinking League) ASAp and rake in all the cash for being such a skilled drinker. I will then continue to live off of my winnings.

You obviously don't understand what the definition of skill actually is.

water drinking competitions have been done. it's too potentially fatal
and as my point before implied, drinking a glass of water is not a skill, but it requires hand eye coordination and probably a few more i cant name, which IS skill.

You should try to make a winning out your dumb comments, because you seem to be a very skilled shit poster.
Pay attention to the CONSTRUCTIVE posts.

There's a lot of hate for the game, and the idea of doing this, but I greatly support this. I played the 360 version, and it's really just unacceptable. All of my friends who defend Mw2 to the death even stopped playing because of how much bullshit they left in the game. Hell I find it funny that even the professional gamers, and many of the machinima mw3 players are actually going back to Black Ops for their videos, because MW3 is so broken and full of assclowns.
And sure you can say HURR DURR WELL THEY BOUGHT THE GAME IN THE FIRST PLACE. Sure, but you have to realize some people in the world LIKE other games than you do. They wanted to play MW3 because they like CoD, but the game is just not what it should be/ what it was advertized to be. MW2 was the first in the series to really be horribly unbalanced and money hungry to me. But even MW2 had small fixes implemented to somewhat try and fix the game/ listen to the gamers.
I realize its a small chance that Activision will really do anything or anyone will even participate, but we should support it rather than play it off. Games and developers need to take more steps in the right direction as a whole. Gaming is declining because of greedy companies, and poor communities. at least this is one of those steps in the right direction.

I'm considering just uninstalling MW3 and putting Black Ops back on. I have 23 hours of MW3 and I've had it since launch. It's just not a very fun game. Not as fun as MW2 or Black Ops were, which I have over 100 hours of.
Okay, so they want the CoD community to stop playing MW3.
On April 20th
aka 4/20.
The only thing that's gonna black out is a bunch of players from all that weed.
That's not possible, get your facts straight.
This won't work, but it's funny to see the fanbase finally collapsing.
Yeah that'll show them, reduce the load on their master servers - reducing their bills!
Genius!
Well, I hope something good comes of this.
But just for one day? Nah, you gotta boycott that shit son

This won't do shit, Activision already has your money and this year the game will again break every sale record. Because one day of protest like this won't do anything and apparently people don't mind spitting out 60 dollars for little effort.
Please tell me this a joke.
Why don't they just stop playing the game, completely, until it is "fixed".
I'll be looking on the steam numbers that day, I'm pretty fucking sure it won't even drop by half the regular player amount. 1 Day wont do shit if they just come crawling back the day after and Activation knows that.
I don't understand the CoD fanbase, before a game releases they're all like 'OMG GUNNA BE THE BEST GAME EVER' a week after they're like 'oh, it's boring now, when's the next one coming out?'
I don't get it.

Implying the game has only been out a week? they've been playing since release and most likely wont stop playing because well it's just not going to get patched until Blops 2 or whatever.
That "spawning problem" has been an issue since the first Modern Warfare. In fact, almost all of those have been problems since.
Why bring it up now, rather than complain about the recycling of features for the past 5 years?

I was talking on a more general term, not at the people in the video.
STOP MW3 2012
Also the dancing ragdoll at 0:10.
I bet this ends up like the MW2 boycott-group in Steam.
As in:
I'll be way to high to play anything that day.
[editline]1st April 2012[/editline]
Also the guy in the video has hardcore reload OCD.
reload ocd is good, never know when you'll need a full magazine
The best part about this is that every one of them is going to happily drop another 60 bucks for Black Ops 2 this November, not even a year later.
This is going to have the same effect Kony 2012 had to Kony.
The guy in the video is going to get arrested for being on drugs and jacking off in public.
