There are so many, many things that go into making a mod, but I'm only really experience in one: programming. In one DAY of programming, ANYBODY does MORE INTELLECTUALLY STRAINING WORK than you EVER WILL creating commentary videos. There are so many theories that go into writing code. It's a MOTHERFUCKING SCIENCE. People go to college for YEARS just so they can be AVERAGE at it. I've been programming for [b]six goddamn years[/b] and I'm still not nearly as good as a lot of the programmers on Facepunch ALONE.
I spent the last few days implementing Separating Axis Theorem into my 2D game. It's made somewhat more difficult by the fact that the game is a multiplayer game, and all the calculations are run on the server, and have to be sent to the client in such a way as to not cause lag. The amount of research that goes into something that simple is so much more than you will EVER do.
Finally, I offer you this: if you can, using your OWN CODE, show me the implementation of Axis Aligned Bounding Boxes (which are related to Separating Axis Theorem), in ANY LANGUAGE, I will recant my entire argument.

In comparison to, say, the UDK, Source's SDK is probably the least user friendly thing that's ever existed. It works, but a lot of the time it doesn't work well.

All joking aside Ignited if you want people to respect you, don't insult you customers *viewers* and then by doing that you lose them and then you lose your money. Instead try to appeal to them in your videos by what you think they'd like to see in a video.
