im on a laptop with an integrated graphics card, can i still do this? [editline]20th December 2013[/editline] because i've been trying to set up stuff for the chunky pool but i haven't been able to start mining, i have no idea if i'm doing something wrong
alright im setup then, anyone knows a good fast pool? according to cudaminer i should be getting 145.20 khash/s but in the pool site i haveo nly 56.50
At least this can serve as a little burn out test of my new GTX 760, had nothing to properly test it on so far :v:
is it possible someone could .rar cudaminer for me? I find a download link for it on some bitcoin website, but it just keeps saying my browser is outdated and if I just another it just refuses to load altogether
Time Since Last Block 1 hour 45 minutes 20 seconds RIP chunky pool Any other recommended pools?
Serious question : Why don't the algorithms actually do something useful ala Folding@Home? Is it because they would be too hard to regulate? Surely they could increase the difficulty of the algorithm whilst still making it useful?
Time Since Last Block 1 hour 45 minutes 20 seconds RIP chunky pool Any other recommended pools?
Yeah, my rate has been dropping as well. I switched to fast-pool.com now, i'll see if it's any better, at least the stats are.
so using chunkypool at the moment.. I have been mining for arround 2 hours how do i know when i will receive my coins?
i'm trying to set up the bat file for mining with my cpu but it's not working, halp
so using chunkypool at the moment.. I have been mining for arround 2 hours how do i know when i will receive my coins?
Go to your transactions tab.
I thought fast pool went down for maintenance or something? The front page doesn't say they are up
I think daylight savings is fucking this up, I've tried putting my clock back an hour but it's still not working Help?
Go to your transactions tab.
There's only confirmed and unconfirmed currency in my transactions tab, no send to wallet option or anything.
my question is what on earth are these formulas, are you providing computing power to help aid research like what ps3 did, or are you literally just rubbing increasingly moist sticks together to spark fires to prove you want it bad enough
I think only primecoin uses the computing power for something usefull, counting prime numbers.
Go to your transactions tab.
nvm its there now .. it shows the amount is 149.63372258 but its unconfirmed ?
wait
So did this thread turn into Doge Coin general discussion or what?
Yep, pretty much, someone should really just make a megathread or something.
So anyone have any sodding idea why i keep getting 'stratum authentification failed' when I run my bat file?
I was using chunky but I left it for 2 hours and it didn't get anything so I just turned off the mining to let my GPU have a break
it still won't sync for me for some reason. i set the .conf file up correctly but all i get is 1 bar of connectivity saying 1 active connection, then it goes off after about 5 minutes :(
I can't even get it to work at all so theres that I am just using faucets now, eh.
So anyone have any sodding idea why i keep getting 'stratum authentification failed' when I run my bat file?
Check your bat config. either the ip is wrong or your login. example cudaminer.exe -i 12 -d 0 -C 1 -l K -H 1 -m 1 -o stratum+tcp://pool.chunky.ms:3333 -O poolnamelogin.workersname:workerspassword poolnamelogin replace with the username you log into the pool with workersname, name of your worker workerspassword, password for the worker you set up

I see you're using minerd, use this format minerd.exe --url stratum+tcp://pool.chunky.ms:3333 --userpass poolusername.workername:workerpass make sure port is correct for your pool
