Are you mining with GPU or CPU?
Because CPU mining is slow compared to GPU.

I'm using GPU, but it's on a laptop. (geforce 710M) I don't know if I can boost it somehow though.

Well I got 2 coins in about 15 minutes with the GTX 550ti, but the thing slows down the PC completely. I'm gonna try on the other PC with the nvidia quattro nvs 290.

[B]Step 5:[/B] Open the MINERS folder and the subfolder according to what you're gonna mine on (I recommend GPU, select your brand) and select the .bat file you will be using [B](use the normal one, not the SOLO one)[/B], open it in Notepad and change the values POOL-ADDRESS, PORT, USERNAME, WORKERUSERNAME, WORKERPASSWORD to match your pools address, port number (you get these from your pool's main page or getting started page) and the username and password you set for your worker. Save your .bat file when you are done
Please note your USERNAME.WORKERUSERNAME is your username you made when you joined the plus and the workers username you set up earlier. So many people are only using one of the other and receiving errors. Say if I joined the pool and my user name is Doge then I set up a worker with the name dogeworker I would put it in the batch file as Doge.dogeworker.
[B]Step 5:[/B] Turn off UAC because it fucks with the miners. Run the .bat file you just created as Admin and mine coins. You're done. You don't need to have anything but the bat file's command window up while mining, so you can close your wallet and browser just fine.
