every FEW MINUTES? , i get arround 140 if i mine like for arround 2 hours, whats yer pool mate?
I'm currently using fast-pool myself. I think it's mainly because I got 2 AMD GPUs running here (a 7970 and a 6970)
Why are the values of my valid fluctuating? I mined overnight and left it going in a pool where it said my valid was at 4000 before I fell asleep, but when I woke up, the value had been reset and I only had 300 confirmed? Dogecoins are confusing as heck, but I'm all in on this shit.
........you people are actually mining coins for this shit? will it even be worth anything? isn't this a joke currency? I'm genuinely confused.
........you people are actually mining coins for this shit? will it even be worth anything? isn't this a joke currency? I'm genuinely confused.
it's a joke currency that's gaining popularity, and no one wants to miss out on another bitcoin event again.

cudaminer.exe -o stratum+tcp://pool.chunky.ms:3333 -O weblogin.worker:workerpw
thats legit my command-line and i'm idle at 74c on my gpu with 47 percent fan speed i just want numbers in my doge wallet
Thanks WPlayer, in that case could you invite me to fast-pool?
cudaminer makes nvidia not shit
How the christ? Only hitting 150khash/s on my GTX 670
I dunno if this is good or bad
How the christ? Only hitting 150khash/s on my GTX 670
Cudaminer is made specifically for Nvidia cards, get that if you have a Nvidia GPU My 680 does 257 khash/s
How the christ? Only hitting 150khash/s on my GTX 670
... so basically since I'm getting 11Kh/s on my 7950 I'm gonna guess it's baaaad...
Cudaminer is made specifically for Nvidia cards, get that if you have a Nvidia GPU My 680 does 257 khash/s
Running Cudaminer atm using the auto settings;
-H 1 -d 0 -i 1 -l auto
Any suggestions?
So.. About 500 in 5 hours.. I'll keep going I guess.
cudaminer here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=167229.0 [editline]21st December 2013[/editline] what im getting is considered ok for one computer, im not going to get much payout compared to the farmers though if you are only getting that you may aswell stop tbh
Went into the miner settings and changed Intensity to 20. Holy diddly-darn, suddenly it boosted up to 600 Kh/s. Temps went from like 40 to 75 and everything is SUUUUPPPER SLOOOWWW.
Does anyone have an idea what "result does not validate on CPU!" means? I keep getting the error in the cmd.
yeah it does that i dont really mind though, il wait for first payout then stop to play vidya
Lowered it to like 15 intensity and that brought the temps down a few degrees and I'm still at like 495 Kh/s and at least now I can use my computer. I think I'll run this on my school computer during the following weeks. It's a macbook, these fuckers reach temps around 90 whether I want them to or not.
Does anyone have an idea what "result does not validate on CPU!" means? I keep getting the error in the cmd.
post your config here bro
So is there any way to see how much I've gotten "so far"? Or do I need to wait and be like "oh thats neat" or "oh thats shit? Considering the wallet isn't updating the DOGE amount.
Mined all night with this config, got ~800DOGE from it, but my 260C216 is throwing "does not validate with CPU" errors, and I feel like that's hurting my mining potential. This is my config:
cudaminer.exe --no-autotune -d 0,1 -i 0,1 -o stratum+tcp://pool.dogepool.net:4444 -O ******.*********:***

post your config here bro
I'm using the lite coin mining package, for nvidia cards. My bat file looks like this: "cudaminer.exe -i 0 -C 2 -l 32x4 -m 1 -H 1 -o stratum+tcp://pool.chunky.ms:3333 -O XXX.XXX:XXX" (I have the correct username and everthing, I just didn't want to publish it here) Here's how the error looks like: My specs are: Intel Xeon 5410, 2Gb ram and a Nvidia NVS 290. Thanks for your help mate.
you don't get anything until you or your pool "wins" think of every hash as a lottery ticket, one of those tickets is a chance to get a block. if you manage to get that block in solo, you get every coin (which i think is like 1mil) if you are in a pool, its shared based on contribution so you wont actually know until you get something, but pools can show estimates so generally speaking, when the pool "wins" i will get around that much because thats my contribution to the estimated "win" amount. [editline]21st December 2013[/editline] this is my understanding though, i havent mined before doge but i read into btc for a school presentation ages ago
So the higher my Khash/s, the more I contribute for the chance of the pool to win?
the cudaminer brings "program not responding" window to me guess i will stick with CPU then
yep, some pools give extra if you "win" but its usually a percentage just imagine like a normal lottery pool, everyone gives their tickets to one person and if any win they share it. the person that buys 10 tickets will get 10 times more than the person that buys 1 so if we were in the same pool, if you are doing 600 khash/s and i am doing 200, you would generally get 3 times the amount i get if we start at the same time since its based on completed hashes
Huh. That's a pretty cool system! Guess I'm gonna wait for this block to finish and then see what my school computer can manage on the next one.
Well, the CPU miner gives me about 2.30 khash/s I would try cudaminer since I have a NVIDIA GeForce GT 230M video card, but it just hangs on and crashes. Could someone help me?
Part of me wants to do both GPU and CPU mining since I've got an i7 3770. But I'm afraid something might explode.
i wouldn't bother with a card that old especially as its a laptop card
if you think that card is old you haven't seen my other two computers
I still don't get the whole Bitcoin/Dogecoin thing; can anyone give me the 411 on cryptocurrency and how they work? 'cause I don't even how this stuff works.
........you people are actually mining coins for this shit? will it even be worth anything? isn't this a joke currency? Heh, it's on Cryptsy now, looks like someone sold 1 mill for 1.1 BTC, there are quite a lot of transactions going on.
