I'm not atheist, you dumbass
aren't you special, what a big boy you are at age 17. nice wikipedia link, too. im totally going to believe an article you just spent 19 or so minutes to edit.
...Secondly, the authors investigated the link between religiosity and intelligence on a country level. Among the sample of 137 countries, only 23 (17%) had more than 20% of atheists, which constituted “virtually all... higher IQ countries.” The authors reported a correlation of 0.60 between atheism rates and level of intelligence, which is “highly statistically significant.” This portion of the study uses the same data set as Lynn's work IQ and the Wealth of Nations.
Commenting on the study in The Daily Telegraph, Lynn said "Why should fewer academics believe in God than the general population? I believe it is simply a matter of the IQ. Academics have higher IQs than the general population. Several Gallup poll studies of the general population have shown that those with higher IQs tend not to believe in God."
0.60 positive correlation between atheism and intelligence
Also, these statements have references on the page.

hahahahah so you gave up and decided to call me a troll. atheist logic is infallible!
These videos are so pointless. It's an endless debate. Well, maybe not endless, but endless up until the point when people actually start losing interest in God, and religions become a minority.
Besides, we can't choose God. God's whereabouts, his thoughts or whatever, are NONE of our concern.
hahahahah so you gave up and decided to call me a troll. atheist logic is infallible!
yeah i converted to christianity recently dude

Not all religious people are so called 'brainwashed'. Most of them are perfectly logical, and you're just letting a few fanatics represent a whole religion.
Just like atheists. I'm sure most atheists are perfectly accepting people, but there's people like you giving them a bad reputation.
P.S. You should stop rating yourself now.

I think the scientific community cares very much.
The scientific community leads this civilization towards the light, by the way.

Well, it does sound quit reasonable to call you a troll than rather cry to god about it. Which would have no sense at all.
It had already been opened he had taken the new life out what a fraud
He should do the same thing with one that is closed for to years or even longer.
banana tree seeds are spread and planted through poop.
bananas evolved to become easy to eat.
bananas were once regular fruit, then one banana mutated and became easier to eat than other bananas, therefore that mutated banana got to spread more of its seeds around than other bananas and those seeds grew trees that made the new banana 2.0, then over thousands of years banana 1.0 became extinct because it could not compete with banana 2.0
the non religious people are smarter argument is silly. people who believe aren't stupider, their belief influences their opinions on science. if you faith contradicts quantifiable, scientific proof, then the faithful person is not wrong, but the faith itself and the people who teach them to believe unconditionally are. growing up within a religious community/family, people are taught that unconditional faith is a positive trait that every good christian(or you are) should believe no matter what, and ignoring other facts and information which directly contradicts the teachings of your faith makes you a better believer.
as far as the argument that Silly Sil made about dealing with extremes, I would argue that if you believe in God, then you believe that the bible is the word of God. and if you believe that God created everything, everyone, then you should follow all his rules and laws from the bible. if you don't agree with even one, then you disagree with God. by definition, God is omnipotent, he created everything. you can't say "well I personally disagree with this part of the bible" because then you are not following the word of God. it is all extremes, because if it wasn't the faith would and is worth nothing.

...no.
The banana that you eat was engineered by humans to be easy to eat. They have no seeds, so they need to be manually cultivated by people.
Wild bananas still exist, and they look like this:

And as you can see, they have seeds.

I demand a video of someone performing an experiment on the big bang, or at least evidence of what was there before the big bang. Ooooh right you didn't actually read what I said, you just took something out of context and made a wise ass, irrelevant reply.
No, you've missed the point. We can speculate what happened, but we don't say it's fact because we don't have the evidence and we simply don't know. You can't go straight to religion and say it's true because it's illogical and based off no evidence whatsoever. We can't explain it without evidence, so leave it at that. You can't just fill in the gaps with the supernatural.
Who says it's a fact? "Faith" is not based on facts but on beliefs.
Also you can't disprove any speculation about the forces that caused big bang BECAUSE THERE IS NO EVIDENCE for or against it. And still, it would be just a speculation not a fact. I can believe my speculation is right but, it still isn't a fact.
I wasn't talking about fanatics. You're basically pulling stuff out of your ass now to defend your feeble-minded opinions.
Let me sum up your post:
[img_thumb]http://img190.imageshack.us/img190/90/idiotsp.png[/img_thumb]
Hey, this is what we have schools for. Oh wait...
Fucking godless schools paid for by the antichrist to force reason on our children fucking satanist atheist fanatics..... screw you I'll be back in an hour... I'll be back.
What... the... fuck are you talking about? They force atheism in schools? Where do you get this stuff from? Your ass? And this whole mockery, you didn't understand what I said at all. It's like talking to a creationist. You're not hearing me. Whatever I say it's just a sound that brings one of our arguments out. This time you completely missed with it. But first things first.
You were talking about people who disregard anything that doesn't fit their religion. You're talking about fanatics, normal religious people (for instance my friends who're christians) believe in evolution and science and still think that there is a God.
Now with the schools. I seriously don't know how did that make sense in your head. You desperately try to force your beliefs (that gods don't exist) on people, and call that "teaching them reason and logic". No dumbass, you're not teaching reason and logic. You're trying to bring down people's fundamental beliefs, their entire worldview over the internet. If you'd have a quarter of that reason and logic you think you have it would occur to you that, you're in no position to do that. People will either run or fight, before they let you change their fundamental beliefs.
And this part about "fucking satanist atheist fanatics" you just prove me right. You are a fanatic, you see everything in black and white. If I don't support you it means I'm a religious freak who spends 8 hours a day praying, thinks that sex is just to make babies, and disregards science because it's an atheistic conspiracy against god. You are a fucking moron.
I am an atheist myself. It just makes my blood boil when I see self-righteous angsty teenage atheistic zealots who think they are helping the world by expressing how much they hate religion on internet forums. You're doing nothing except adding to the fire and creating a bad stereotype of atheists (the kind that will sacrifice friendship or family relations to prove other people wrong about their beliefs).
Fanatics like you, and fanatics from the other side of the argument are the problem. Everyone in the middle just doesn't give a fuck, and have no problem accepting other middlegrounder's beliefs. They might not agree with each other about existence of deitys but they know the discussion is pointless and just get along.
Now go and point your stupid arguments at people who actually believe in what you say, the "true" religious people who disregard science. You have a beef with ignorance (disregard of science) not with religion itself, and I understand that it's often related, it's like you people said, being "true" to a religion would require disregarding some scientific facts, but there are people who live their lives staying in the middleground and in my opinion they should be left alone.
And one last thing, you won't be back in an hour, you will be back in 3 days, because you rape animals.

You're right - I am a fanatic. I'm a fanatic of science, logic and reason - the only method which is able to find the truth. If your beliefs contradict elementary logic of course I'm going to say that they're shit, as evidently irrational beliefs harm the society.

Logic and reason my ass. You didn't take into account what I said.
How does believing in a deity while accepting science harm society? And like I said, if you'd have a quarter of the logic and reason you think you have you'd know that you're in no position to overthrow people's fundamental beliefs. But you're too blinded with your fanaticism to understand.

You can't believe in a deity and accept science to begin with.
You can't believe in a deity and accept science to begin with.
Go on with your absolutes, idiot. For you people either have to be close minded religious freaks or anti-religious scientists.
Please explain that to me, I really want to know: why can't one believe in a deity and accept science?
I am inclined to be an atheist rather than a believer, but really these words just describe ways in which we try to understand what's around us. Supposedly watertight scientific beliefs have been overturned by subsequent theories and discoveries, showing that even what scientists believe in is not constant or the ultimate truth. In my opinion none of us can know anything for certain and it's entirely possible that there is a spriritual dimension to life which we cannot understand at present.

Prepare to get flamed by glorious leader for having irrational beliefs that hurt society.
