How did you manage to run Zelscope? It just crashes for me :v:
I don't know, I just installed it and it runs fine for me
I think this is my new favorite video on youtube
Goddammit OP I've spent my entire day messing around with oscilloscopes http://marmaduke.co.nf/xy-oscilloscope/ You are welcome
Soundcard Oscilloscope for those who want to run a scope for them self. It's not perfect as the fastest it can get is 50ms, but it works out decent. You'll need to use Stereo Mix. Set normal speakers as default device and make sure the sample rate outputs are the same or things won't work right. If your using headphones, on stereo mix turn on "Listen to this device" and choose your head set.

is it supposed to feel like an 80's movie?

This is really fun to play with if you use the X-Y graph with binaural beats.
Pair this up with some interesting effects on Audaccity, and you've got a good setup.

[t]http://i.imgur.com/peoKAb0.png[/t] How do I fix this?
I had that problem a bit too, mess with amplitude, your system volume (if useing stereo mix) and the green box below the amplitude knob. If you adjust the scale to 0.1 on both channels, you can zoom all the way out and have more wiggle room with amplitude. Auto volume in settings should also be off. And if the X-Y area starts to get thick and kinda "ghost" just flip the tab to settings or something and back, usually fixes it due to the program being a bit slow to update. You can also hit start/stop, that sometimes works.
Any instructions? It does nothing for me.
Oops, I haven't tested it in other browsers. It seems that Firefox cannot handle wav files with big sampling rate (or there is some other problem I don't know of). And IE doesn't support wav files at all. Sorry, you'll have to use Chrome or Opera.
Not sure if late and sorry for the bump but I saw this video and was reminded of this thread.
The album is out.
Jeez, hard to believe this thread was started two years ago. I miss my first semester at uni already...

What about to try send video in to tv via 3.5mm to rca cable
You mean like you can on the [sp]lord and saviour[/sp] Nokia N9? It won't work with a sound card, NTSC signals work on the scale of Mhz instead of Khz that they provide
I remember the zune and a few other devices doing this around the same time, but for some stupid reason the zune used a proprietary arrangement of which band on the 3.5mm was what part of the output. Their cable cost more than the generic store brands by a longshot, but if you were smart you could figure out the white or red connector was the one outputting the video and save a good few bucks
The guy just dropped a whole bunch of stuff on his Youtube channel: Don't watch them all at once. Your brain will pop.
Holy shit this is so cool I didn't even know this was a thing. :mindblown: [editline]5th October 2016[/editline]
The guy just dropped a whole bunch of stuff on his Youtube channel: Don't watch them all at once. Anyone else kind of reminded of Astrolander? Both the crude electronic sounds in the music and the (mostly) green display.
The guy just dropped a whole bunch of stuff on his Youtube channel: vids Don't watch them all at once. Your brain will pop.
fucking hell, they all look and sound great but the last one really was something special.
Holy shit Asteroids, I want that thing that puts non-oscilloscope audio into a visually pleasing form
Just got back from watching all of it. Can confirm that my eyes, ears and mind are blown.
So weird to have this rendered on a software oscilloscope straight from youtube using virtual audio cable (slight delay in the rendering). [thumb]https://maurits.tv/data/img/October%202016/2016-10-05_03-02-53_GK9JK7l4lC.png[/thumb]
