This is so stupid. This video takes like no creativity to make. Like all you have to do is splice together a bunch of clips from a movie and boom you get 10M views. And the guys who uploaded it completely have no respect for copyright law either. They're basically profiting off of DreamWork's hard work by just making cuts in the right places. Why hasn't ContentID taken this down yet?
Considering that in the description it has a link generated by youtube advertising Kung Fu Panda 3, I think it does recognize the content, and it probably already does cut the ad revenue from the video and redirects it towards Dreamworks. Also, this is the second thread I've seen you complain about "shitty youtubers" in this week, and I hate to make this stupid cliched argument, but; why don't you show us what makes a good YouTube channel if you're so upset with the system? Be the change that you want to see.
Wait does the lady marry the bee at the end or something?
I never realized 'till now they re-used one guy's face model several times for multiple characters (the news reporter, several background people, the airline pilot, etc).
3:35 he shouts so damn well
you can see a bee at 9:29
I remember I saw Jerry Seinfeld live in Boston once. At the end of his routine, he allowed for some questions to be asked. Someone asked about Bee Movie. His only response was "yeah, I did a kids film once."
When they put shot-reverse-shots together like that you really notice how little effort went into them. Was dreamworks going through a "churn out low quality junk with licensed music and big names in it" stage when this came out?
It certainly feels that way when you look at some of their earlier films (especially those produced in the mid to late 2000's). Dreamworks in the mid to late 2000's seemed to be only concerned with getting celebrity voice actors, licensed music, putting in as many pop culture references as possible, and overall trying to be "hip" and "cool". I guess that's what happens when one tries too hard in being the "anti-Disney". Though I should note, not all of their films produced in the mid to late 2000's were bad in my opinion. It just seemed like their quality standards really dropped during that time.
this move was worse than i remembered
