To be fair he only did that because fans told him to after he spent over a year unemployed unable to get hired and he was basically on the verge of total collapse. Cr1TiKaL did it out of necessity for survival.

To me it's a question of internal motivation. Sure, if you're doing it for the money, it'll feel like a job. For me, I pretty much can't not write. It's too much fun.

Yahtzee said something about writing that I really liked. It was something along the lines of "anyone can start a book, but it takes real determination, real love of the craft, to finish the book once the idle enjoyment wears off."
