So you don't find anything potentially odd about men who are fine with strutting around in the nude with bdsm gear in front of children?
straight people do this too lmao
straight people do this too lmao
Not to celebrate their lifestyle.
Not to celebrate their lifestyle.
lol and why are you even complaining about a child seeing naked gay men when in the video you see everyone in clothes YOU EVEN HAVE COPS IN THE BACKGROUND
lol and why are you even complaining about a child seeing naked gay men when in the video you see everyone in clothes YOU EVEN HAVE COPS IN THE BACKGROUND
Oh trust me, that child had probably seen way more hairy gay-man skin than she should have that day.
Not to celebrate their lifestyle.
That's because 'straight lifestyle' is universally celebrated by pretty much every culture in every corner of the planet. Do you really think straight people have any reason to doubt themselves? I don't want to go too far into the whole 'privilege' thing, but there's a reason there's no serious 'Straight Pride' festival, and that's because straight people don't need to be reassured. Pride isn't just scary gays running around in leather and spanking each other, it's also about colour, celebration and, well, pride in the face of adversity. [editline]2nd July 2015[/editline] Plus, every time I walk into a supermarket or bookstore, I see a big shelf full of stories from the perspective of a woman-beating psychotic stalker masquerading as 'bondage', part of a successful series (including a film) of much the same. And yet some gay guys in spandex are poisoning society? Homosexuals need reassurance precisely because all they have to go on is "colour", "celebration" and "pride in the face of adversity" (It's not always a signal to be prideful about something when a large group of people find it disgusting). You seem to be making a mistake though, you're assuming that I think homosexuals are some kind of big deal. The truth is they aren't a big deal, their activities are utterly inconsequential on the whole and that's the problem, we're actually wasting time and effort concentrating on a lifestyle that does nothing and contributes nothing. [editline]blah[/editline] On the subject of the OP, I'd also like to note that it takes absolutely no courage to challenge a publicly ridiculed and irrelevant position when it is completely politically correct and socially acceptable to do so.

My dad used to take me to LA Pride when I was about her age, maybe even younger. It is more of just an event with pretty colors and happy people more than parents trying to instill the "gay agenda" onto their kids. Also gay pride parades are not just a bunch of dudes with their dicks out, and have recently become more family oriented and educative. I still enjoy going to these parades even though I identify as a heterosexual, because its a celebration, not an orgy.
Parents drag their children to church, same concept, the church is actively indoctrinating and manipulating children just as much if not more than a pride parade would.
Classic liberal. (User was banned for this post ("Awful series of bad posts and bigoted crap" - Craptasket))
I've never been happier to see someone banned.
I've never been happier to see someone banned.
I'm surprised it wasn't a permaban, since he just got off another bigotry ban.
This wasn't even a pride festival, this was an annual community music festival in Columbus, Ohio. People just happened to be celebrating/protesting the recent SCOTUS ruling.
These comments though
These comments though
"Gays can't have children but if homosexuality becomes more common it will be genetically inherited more" :suicide:
Wouldn't that be scary though? Like imagine aliens came and started abducting pretty heterosexual people from the planet or something that would be scary.
"Gays can't have children but if homosexuality becomes more common it will be genetically inherited more" :suicide:
Everybody knows that gay men fuck women and lesbian women trick men into sleeping with them in order to breed more homosexual kids. Duh... Not to mention the lesbian girl on gay man conspiracy.
my post was a mostly a joke but obviously you wouldnt want your kid to see hairy middle aged men walking around in leather straps, chaps etc. with their arse cheeks hanging out. come the fuck on
Better than sitting at home and watching some cartoon characters fighting each other. [editline]3rd July 2015[/editline]
It's baffling, how can people be so disgusted by such level-headed and well-adjusted people?
I've been to a BDSM sex party before and they've all been extremely reasonable and productive members of society. I'm not into sharing my partner, but who cares if they are? They're not hurting me or anyone in the community. If the worst thing you can say about someone is that they like to be tied up and whipped a bit, or they like to show off while having sex, that's pretty good all things considered. I've never understood why people are against such sex positive behavior.
Parents drag their children to church, same concept, the church is actively indoctrinating and manipulating children just as much if not more than a pride parade would.
The main difference is that a pride parade is inherently positive, whereas a religious situation is really more open to our interpretation.
These comments though
I don't think this guy has heard of artificial insemination
Better than sitting at home and watching some cartoon characters fighting each other.
i'd rather just have people just not have their ass hang out in public honestly
Better than sitting at home and watching some cartoon characters fighting each other.
uh...what?
She is the hero of the future.
i think the experience of thousands gathered to celebrate equality is worth the occasional glimpse of some skin
I don't understand why a celebration of equality = certain people showing off their fetishes while dressed and acting like weirdos if you're seriously trying to tell me there's no problem with people bringing their children to those kinds of events then just lol, it's creepy as fuck (Not saying the event in the video is necessarily like that)

That was pretty powerful how she literally just stood there glancing at him while he is rambling at her about his beliefs.
I'm all for LGBT rights but honestly the gimpy dude's with their leathers and latex and their dicks hanging out really bother me. It's okay to be gay but don't flaunt your fetishes in middle of the street. They are the reason so many people hate gay's because when they think gay they immediately picture a flaming homo with bright hair, a mustache and ass-less leather pants. Sorry if I'm offending anyone here but I was arguing for gay rights on facebook the other day and there simply isn't any way to convince anti-gay people that not all gays are like that. When you couple it with the fact that people insist on bringing their children to gay pride parades in some cases also only in their underwear, there's no wonder people don't want to support your cause.
People in assless chaps and underwear account for about 1% or less of people at a Pride parade. If you don't like them, you're free to go to another area, they're not surrounding you like gay bdsm zombies like you seem to think it is. Not to mention, there are police on every corner, if someone was legally unclothed or disturbing people, they would be approached by officers.
Why does a child have anything to do with gay pride?
because a family is there to support lgbt rights? [editline]3rd July 2015[/editline] why wouldn't the child be there. this isn't russia, it's not illegal to expose children to rights parades :)
Have you even been to a Pride party?
I've been to Stockholm Pride, yes. People in fetish costumes, people waving dildos and various other sex toys around, topless women, people more or less masturbating in public, etc. etc.* And I just don't get it. What does that sort of stuff have to do with the LGBT community? To me it just seemed like a bunch of morons who got the opportunity to live out their vouyeristic fantasies. it just adds fuel to the hatred from the homophobic community, whose general thoughts about LGBT people is "Perverted animals who don't belong in a civilized society" This is basically the first thing that comes to my mind: * Of course there were also tons of completely normal people, there for one simple reason, to show that they believe in equal rights for everyone, no matter what their sexuality may be. But it's important to draw a line between sexuality and fetish, certain things should simply stay private, there's no reason to flaunt them around. Imagine a truck plastered with hentai and furry porn driving around on one of those parades, that would be just as weird and wrong
