It fit the whole premise and happy-go-lucky feel of Bad Company 1, so it was not only a good piece of music, but it fit with the actual game.

BC1 had a damn good soundtrack

it went for more focused, concert pieces reflecting squad-to-squad warfare following the main storyline, rather than the large orchestral pieces reflecting massive armies clashing from previous battlefields

That's not actually Battlefield 2's theme. That was the loading music for the Armored Fury "booster pack". But I reckon it's the best of the Battlefield themes.

I always feel like everyone forgot about BF:Vietnam. It's my favorite Battlefield, its atmosphere is just so amazing compared to the others, and its gameplay is completely different.
