this is probably the closest thing to SWAT 5 we'll ever get
You could do the same in Doombuilder in the time it takes to eat a lunch.
This looks cool as fuck. Would definitely play if/when it releases to the "schools" which, I hope, will trickle down to us.
this should become an e-sport in the future.
[editline]30th December 2017[/editline]
an edge-sport if you will
If this was on the Source engine how unfair would it be if the school shooter was bhopping across the school hall with a CSS knife and just backstabbing everyone, including the cops

There's a legit spiritual successor to SWAT 4 coming out already. Funny enough going off the trailer there might be a school shooting op too.

I hate it when the school shooter jumps out of bounds using a plank of wood and gets to see through the ceiling.
It sounds like any EMT could get their hands on it, but I'm sure there are redistribution rules. It's a little dark but it'd be interesting to walk through this taking it seriously.
Or even better; get FP Arma to walk through and not take it seriously :v:
hopefully, but i doubt anyone is willing to risk it
if anyone wants to try to get a distribution for FP, here's the link https://www.cesiedgetraining.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=16&Itemid=150
it would be easier to make your own clone in ue4 than it would be to have this done to your home computer

The school shooters kill most of the kids and each other, the first responders sit around trying to plan everything out and fix the numerous problems in structure and the plan, and two kids accidentally kill half of the first responders.
Judging from what they showed, you can't actually shoot anyone? Maybe that would be too graphic to show.
Not trying to bring up anything about US gun laws etc, but very very glad to live in a country where this isn't necessary.
It's like Who's Your Daddy style mechanics.
But Daddy has a gun.

It's because they implemented the dead island gore system and twenty seven different gibbing systems onto each child model.
So when does the Hatred crossover come out?

I just figured that the news station didn't want to show children being shot over broadcast tv, even if they aren't real.
it looks like a blast if it had VR support

I was about to mention if this was the sequel of that unreleased gem. I think when it was happening a bunch of american news networks even covered it.
So when does the Hatred crossover come out?
There was a video on YT showcasing school-shooting mod for Hatred, but it looks like they removed the video.

It kind of weakens the report though.
"This part always makes my skin crawl" as a gun viewmodel walks down the hall following kids doesn't really connect.
Carry the shooter's body back into the classroom to make more kids.
Get evacuated and leave all the kids behind afterwards.

Yeah really.

Just be glad they didn't have the bloody mess perk.
Child parts everywhere

Its fucked up but this actually seems kinda fun, I guess I just love anything with roles and asymetrical gameplay. I understand its not for that though lol.

What I always wonder is why this almost never happens up here in Canada. We rank #5 for global gun ownership, so we have lots of them, but shootings like these happen a on minuscule level relative to the US. Never was availability/lack there of of firearms a deterrent/hindered the attacker in any way, so there's some non-firearm-related factor that the US clearly slips in. What could it be?
It's possibly a mixture between the way the USA's mainstream media sector reports on events like school shootings and mass murders and our poor healthcare system(especially poor concerning healthcare surrounding mental illness)
The major television news agencies run the stories on the shootings for a pretty long while and often introduce an extensive profile of the shooter(s) involved, effectively immortalizing them.
This kind of media exposure can provoke more of these deranged and mentally ill individuals to seek their 15 minutes of fame or martyrdom through this particular kind of venue.
Canada does the same whenever it happens, we have extensive coverage on the shooter/shooting for weeks following. If someone wanted to make a mark on Canadian history, a mass shooting would do that for sure.
That said, I do agree with your mental health point. Maybe there's a disconnect between doctors/educators/parents and the individuals who end up going to such extreme lengths, whether from lack of funding or culture around mental health? These shooters all share a pretty common life story, that of neglect and messed up influences.. I would hope people become more attentive to their loved ones, watching out for signs, but maybe in these situations/families that attention/awareness just isn't there for whatever reason
It seems that most of the school shooters in the US had no history of being under treatment for mental illness despite being clearly mentally disturbed (from reading their manifestos). Combined with how there have been similar shooting events in other countries like Canada (just not as often) committed by individuals with a similar situation of untreated mental illness, it seems like there is more of a cultural stigma in the US about getting treated for mental illness compared to other countries.
It makes you wonder why the parents of the ill individual in many of these cases of school shootings didn't see the signs or whether they did but didn't anything about them.
It's a shame that the highlighting of these cases in the media is more likely to further stigmatize the individuals who are susceptible to these kinds of thoughts than it is to encourage them to seek help from medical practitioners.
lfg 2 cops with a 4.5 K2C (kid to corpse) ratio or higher no stun guns pistols and batons only
The end-game score is displayed as the lower-third scroll bar as footage is played from the round as if it were news.
I should show this to my boss, working for campus security has some perks. Seriously though it could be an interesting experience for the department.
