I think I'm more worried by the word "Nummies" and how much it's used in that video.

It's a geeky cooking show. "Nerdy Nummies"
They have special guests on to make themed cupcakes and stuff.
I never comment on Youtube, so I personally don't see a huge impact for myself. I don't like the idea to force anyone to use Google+ though.

I don't care. "Nummies" is the worst bastardization of a word in an attempt at cuteness.

Ok...
I don't really care either. Point is, it's the name of the show so it make sense it would be uttered in the video a bit.
f this BS i'm using vimeo
I really would switch to that but as I recall they don't like game footage.
And I doubt an internet petition is going to change anything, nothing will, short of going up to Google HQ, picketing and singing "Do You Hear the People Sing?"
I would do that but I live halfway across the world so that's a bit difficult.

Am I the only one getting this message when trying to wander the new YouTube? It looks like these are the same "highly trained" monkeys that ruined the comments in the first place.
Can't? How?
I made a youtube through a mobile and it never linked it to google + or gave me any of their shit.
So... any good YouTube clones worth checking out?
Dailymotion or Vimeo.
Vimeo probably your best bet but it's more for indie art films and whatnot.

I refuse to believe that somebody somewhere thought this would be a good idea in any way.
How can a human with a functional brain look at this and say "Yep, this is better than what we had"
Seems SexuaLobster hates it too.
Honestly, if vimeo was more mainstream we'd be a lot happier...

Amazing work
Okay youtube, you know what, fuck you, you don't want my comments, you won't get my fucking comments.
Jesus christ wow, Google+ can go clean my fucking asshole.
This would be a good idea.
If people used google+.
Seriously, they've been trying to make YouTube a social network for sometime now. And since most modern website design is very dull, it's just where YT has gone. When MySpace was all then rage, most other websites had bright colorful strenuous layouts. But a lot of people hated that, and so now everything is dull. No color on facebook, even the core OS X is just a bunch of Gray. Switching to windows, switching to dailymotion too.
You know what this new character limit means now? Text pictures and fan fictions galore!
Here is how dumb the comment system is:

Not the actual video itself but the comment made by someone. For anybody who doesn't want to look at it, [sp]it's the entire play of Braveheart[/sp]
they're trying so fucking hard to merge Google+ and Youtube and it that is turns out to be in complete shit
this some dookey level nonsense
how big of a dick can you be. you know your social media website is complete shit so you purposefully try to bundle it with something everyone is already using, fackoff.
So this shit forces me to have email notifications each time I get a new comment or reply.
no thanks google I don't want my phone to turn into a vibrator just by using the gmail app yet.
comment "jb sux" on a justin beiber video. cost-effective vibrator.
revolutionary.
Yeah, but as of today, you can't comment at all unless you link a Google+ account.
Oh fuck how did I miss that in all these news articles
I thought it was just more integration with G+, not forced G+
Well either way I didn't have to deal with that prompt for a long time since I adblocked it. Now I don't need to deal with commenting either. We need a new website to replace youtube (sorry Google but you keep cocking it up)

must be a dream, must be a dream... please
i mean, they can at least take one ounce of criticism, right?!
EDIT:
Actually, they still do take feedback, either the system is broken for a while ago or just seems catchy that it does that link to there.
Someone posted a transcript of Rand Paul's 5 hour filibuster.

it's also really funny how out of touch with reality they are. I mean do you really fucking think anyone is going to use this comment system to link friends from Google+ in their comment and be like 'hey fellow friends that mutually love Google+, let's follow this retarded barbecue tutorial' are you fucking kidding me
I refused to use my real name the first time they tried to force it on me and it did eventually just make a half assed google+ account for me anyhow. Doesn't really matter to me it still doesn't make me use my real name or have any of my info and I can still comment.

Oh yea and grab Youtube Center Userscript for Greasemonkey to fix most of the problems with youtube like it never remembering your HD playback settings or window size. Also centres the page among many other custom features.
You know what was a lot more social than all this mess
Video responses
Sounds like the perfect feature for MaxOfS2D
Huh? Where did that even come from? I have no qualms with people giving me C&C...
