Daniel doesn't even dress that well. Fucking white vans?
that's the joke
that's the joke
not really
not really
that's why i found it funny at least, plus the obnoxious chav accent
This appears to be a combination of a forced meme and luck. It even includes a swatting of all things.
On February 17th, the account Four_Pins created the Damn Daniel starter pack, which included White Vans; the tweet received over 19,000 retweets and 23,000 likes.[6] On February 18th, Vans tweeted about the video, creating a Twitter poll with two options: “Back At It” and “With the White Vans;” as of February 19th, with 5 days to go, the poll had received almost 50,000 votes.[7] Clorox[8] and Axe[9] also tweeted about the video, making jokes about the whiteness of the Vans and Daniel’s physical appearance, respectively. Among many other media mentions, the video’s catchphrases were used in the title of an article about Justin Bieber, who was also seen wearing white vans. The video’s popularity caused #DamnDaniel to trend briefly, especially on the West Coast. On February 23rd, 2016, ABC7 Los Angeles reported that the owner of the Twitter account which had originally posted the Damn Daniel tweet, @josholzz, had been swatted. According to the report, a false 911 call had been made reporting that someone at a residence in Riverside, California had shot their mother with an AK-47. The police arrived to find out that the call was fake.[12]
http://knowyourmeme.com/memes/damn-daniel
From now on my name is Jack until the meme dies
that's why i found it funny at least, plus the obnoxious chav accent
These are American high school kids not English.
Talk shit post fit
I dunno if you guys just have different trends over their in the US but here in the West Aus vans haven't really been a thing since the early 2010's, especially straight white ones.
He might hate Damn Daniel but I bet he sure doesn't hate piggybacking off of the hype and using his "controversial" opinion to rake in some more views. This is akin to that guy on Facebook that complains about all kids listen to nowadays are the "bitches and hoes" hippity hop music and that's why they have no standards. And all kids that come after them are just stupid compared to them and their superior intellect and brand of humor. It's like that friend you have that wants to come over and hang out, but the college football playoffs are on and you know he's just gonna sit there and complain about it. Can't tell your friend no they can't come over, but can't stand to sit there and have to listen to them tell you how "vapid" and "stupid" and "pointless" the sport is. People that complain about trends and try to act like they're better than the people that like said trends are infinitely worse than people who enjoy said trends. Look at me. I'm so contrarian and intellectual, let me do a detailed deconstructed critical analysis on a video of a guy saying something in a funny manner. And he had the nuts to make me sit through 15 solid seconds of him chimping out on his microphone trying to prove a point expecting me to be like "HAHAHA U R SO RITE DUDE!!!" Then went for the Big Bang comparison. Just going for the lowest hanging fruit to get the sweetest of views. Not all of his videos are this bad, but this just sounds like grandpa bitching. [editline]24th February 2016[/editline] And he even brought back the "Derr plant" bit near the end. So I had to sit through his shitty eye-rolling joke twice.
You call his opinion "controversial"? How is it controversial because I'm not seeing him getting any popular shit about HIS opinions, he got popular because he's an example of the Youtube case that has been going on with a lot of people, and also that cool cat example that fits with the Youtube case. Like come on dude, there is much more controversial opinions on Youtube than a guy doing a monotone voice and calling a meme "poopoo"
I watched a few of IHE's videos, and they were entertaining for a bit, but after about the fifth one it gets pretty old. We get it, man. You hate everything.

The Daniel kid in the video got swatted

In style these days and are on the rise for sure. Authentics are a classic summer silhouette and white is a great neutral color for them that goes with any outfit. Sk8-His are huge now and them and Stan Smith's have become the essential shoes of the past couple of years, at least as far as streetwear goes(which is becoming more popular itself).
That kid in those videos sounds like Beast Boy

People will say thats the point of his channel but It really just gets old after a while, not to mention the fact that it seems more like he's just hating anything that's popular to seem like some elevated individual where hes above what normal people enjoy.
Maybe you should make a video about it.
I just woke up and re read my post and this was the first thing that came to mind tbh. an I Hate I Hate Everything channel. I don't necessarily hate him but I could easily do this for most of his videos. Pushing good taste to the limit and just becoming edgy as all heck like his supposed hyperbolic character here. Is this a good idea??
imagine making an obnoxious 8 minute 'I HATE!!' video on a short viral twitter video [editline]24th February 2016[/editline] people will forget about damn daniel in a week who cares?? why make this video????
500 thousand views
Jesus guys, memes have standards, come on.
'first time i've heard of this
The comedic appeal is probably easier on teenagers. This is the exact sort of joke friend groups have at this age 14-18 and they usually amuse other people with jokes like that. So people who are older probably don't get it for that reason. That along with the delivery is what makes it funny imo.
It's kinda like the beginning of cool guy had a chill day where the guy says "it's cool guy!" It's kind of refrential and kind of funny on its own. Not overly funny.
Sounds like too much work. Might as well just forget about it and continue on with life.
Wow mystery hot dog guy. It's almost like you know me. :tinfoil:
Ok? [editline]25th February 2016[/editline] IN MY OPINION!! sorry hope nobody was offended there for a sec...

Guys stop feeding the rusty or he'll turn into salty. in other news it happened again:
i found it funny because daniel is a real cutie. just look at that smile and tell me he aint a lil cutie.
I got tagged on Facebook with this video. I honestly thought it was some in-joke a friend from another state had with her friends and didn't think much of it. I had no idea this was some world-wide phenomenon. Good lord. The fact that it's actually a meme worries me a little.
i found it funny because daniel is a real cutie. just look at that smile and tell me he aint a lil cutie.
This is a weird comment but youre also right
Yet meme's like Deez Nuts are still floating around and certain "media" outlets seem to treat them like relevant indiviuals when it's just two people messing around with a phone camera. It eventually goes back to the "Making people with no talent famous" complaint that goes around.
You know deez nuts has been a thing for a really long time right? Some people seem to forget that some jokes are actually jokes, not just viral videos and memes. I wish we could go back to the era before literally everything that has been said by more than 3 people on the internet was a "meme". Also how can anyone sit and watch 8 minutes of some British kid complaining about an unfunny meme? If it was like 3 minutes of him roasting the video maybe I'd get it, but how do you have 8 minutes to sit around and watch a pretentious British kid moan about how he doesn't like a joke? The guy doesn't even make a joke out of it, it's seriously just 8 minutes of him finding different ways to say "this sure is stupid!" [editline]25th February 2016[/editline]
This video was IHE's opinion and you seem offended by it.
There's a big difference between having a negative opinion and being offended lol. I don't like pickles on my burgers but they don't offend me.
