Judging by the look of it, they look almost like the cat-faced spider, [I]arraneus Gemmoides[/I]. They can get quite a good size going, but are completely harmless to humans. I get them on my back porch during the summer sometimes. Very interesting webbers. Their webs are the tension of guitar strings.

I'm the type of person that will catch a bug or reptile and put it outside in hopes that its (sometimes insanely short) life lasts that much longer. Held a couple deadly snakes. Not a huge fan of spiders, but that shit right there would make me never want to go outside again.

I'm a major arachnophobe and I honestly don't know why I click on every spider-related thing on FP. Probably to sub-consciously generate some kind of smug self-relief in the fact that such things don't physically exist where I live.
