from what i saw the models look like kids toys with the tiny torso but giant hands, heads, and feet.
When will we get a star wars that depicts a perspective from the Empire, or the supposed 'bad guys' side? Preferably from a stormtrooper or some low ranking member to show off the gritty side of star wars. I mean its always about a morally correct smuggler or jedi. You know that behind those white faceless helmets, there is a person with a personality, a family, a history. And to see them be used as canon fodder without any intimate relationship with the audience is pretty depressing.
why do they have to have the kawaii tentacle hair race be the female hero.
At least she's sensibly clothed.

Is she the main character in this? Does that mean she will be in 99% of the scenes and all screen time?
Tie-fighters being agile as they were It's a little hard to believe they were caught by that, also being manned by the best pilots of the galaxy...

That's why there's almost entirely prequel based stuff ever since those came out. Because more kids have seen the prequels first.
Apocalypse Endor is the only comic I can think of that depicts only the Empire's side from a stormtrooper's perspective.
Deathstar novel shows the Imperial side, Rogue Squadron novels also somewhat dip into them.

Wish they'd expand on the lesser known characters or hell even some the more well known ones, we haven't had anything decent related to the Fett family since Bounty Hunter and that was awesome.
Is she the main character in this? Does that mean she will be in 99% of the scenes and all screen time?
The main character is Aladdin with force powers.

Its free of Lucas but now Disney get to control everything about it.

Hell even ones like the Umbara arc or even a flashback to the Raid on The Jedi Temple! Nothing would be seeing Rex and the 501st during Order 66.

It's called Starwars Empire and one of the story arcs focuses on an Imperial Officer who overcomes incompetent fellow Officers and surviving against the planet natives. http://www.comicvine.com/star-wars-empire-16-to-the-last-man-part-1-of-3/4000-166755/user-reviews/ The empire series itself is great for that gritty stuff.
The main character is Aladdin with force powers.
The Empire captured Abo on Naboo! Quick Genie make the Carpet into a X-Wing!

Battlefront II's story was awesome for dipping into the gritty dark side of Star Wars.
The animation looks far better than The Clone Wars. Far more fluid in this, TCW felt jerky.

I'd say at least for the first few seasons, we won't have any stormtrooper episodes unless its about some stormtrooper defector. Epsiodes where the bad guys were the protagonists were nonexistent in Clone Wars earlier seasons. Its possible later in the series if it follows a similar path of becoming darker as Clone Wars did though.
All things considered, that's some pretty animation.

this make's me kinda of worried for Epsiode VII I don't want some cute'y crap I want a dark gritty 7/8/9 sure because If I don't feel like the main Villon/Sith lord is evil
Is The Clone Wars any good? Is it really more for kids? I really want to enjoy something Star Wars related outside of the original trilogy, but it's really hard. The only things I've enjoyed are Shadows of the Empire on N64, Jedi Knight 2/Academy and Force Unleashed 1.

Clone Wars is great when you get to the third season and you get some of the Clone PoV episodes and the night sisters arc. The final season is quality entertainment Most good Sci-Fi shows have a first mediocre season trying to find there footing and then make quality stuff
I did a Marathon of the entire series when it hit Netflix (Available in Canada and the US). The First 2 seasons were not as bad as I remembered. Some of the ones on Netflix are 'directors cuts' having scenes not in the original releases. The only scene that I noticed was different was season 3 episode 2. Ventress visaibily force pulls a clone onto her saber in full view kisses him on the cheek (helmet off) and drops him.
I'd be much more inclined to get back in the habit of watching Star Wars TV shows and movies if they made an adult gritty version of it. Preferably the imperial perspective. One can dream. For now ill look at fan-made stuff

I know it's not a show but more adult themed Star Wars anything is good. I'm on episode 4. I can't believe they're actually killing people in this. I don't know why.
That is awesome and I had no idea they would depict this type of thing in what I thought was a kid's show.
It really stops being a kids show after second season. It still has some elements that feel childish here and there (basiclly any episode with Jar Jar or droids as main characters) but the majority of the episodes aren't really meant for children.
