Hood life, the ultimate uncensored gangsta shit documentary

Obviously, but how do you bring less poverty to an area where crime is so rampant that businesses can't safely operate? Bring cops? The gang members shoot at cops, and the people who aren't in gangs both distrust the cops, and are afraid enough of the gangs to not help the cops. Educate people better? Gang violence and drugs start young, funding for schools is too low, security is a constant problem, and qualified teachers are too afraid of the area (and for a good reason) to take a job there. The solutions seem simple: security, money, and education will lead to more stable societies. Implementing those simple solutions is a whole 'nother problem, however.
It's not so cut and dry as you make it seem.
Adding to BDA, gang life provides an alternate to "security, money, and education". Kids drop out of school because they can join a gang, sling dope, and pull in more money that they every would hope to earn "honesty" (read: getting a job/career) since the school systems in impoverished areas are so shit. In many areas, more students drop out of highschool than graduate, and rarely do those who graduate attend college, not because the kid isn't smart, but it's simply not possible financially. It's sad because there are so many bright minds being put to waste in urban areas because of this. On top of that, No Child Left Behind fucks the system up even worse. Basically, the better the school does, the more government assistance it gets. However, the worse a school does, the more it is "punished", whether that means laying off teachers, cutting funding, etc. So when these schools can't afford to hire good teachers in the first place, average scores go down the drain, leading to funding cuts; rinse wash and repeat. There are schools around me in Detroit that don't have enough books for their students, or enough desks to sit a classroom. How the hell are these kids supposed to learn when the teachers don't care (or are just shit), they don't have supplies, their buildings are decrepit and in major need to repair, and loads of other problems? They don't. They drop out and in many cases, they take to the streets.
I was fortunate enough to help tutor some kids in a bad part of Detroit, and let me tell you, some of these kids were simply awe-inspiring. Knowing from where they came from, it made it even more impressive to see a first grade black kid in a sketchy part of Detroit do all of his times tables like they were nothing, or seeing a fifth grade kid sketch out a beautiful portrait of my friend on a piece of notebook paper. But these kids were the lucky ones, who were able to be enrolled into this program to be tutored by university students such as myself. I know that for every kid I tutored, 15 more hit the streets right after school, if they even go. It's really a shame that they educational system in urban areas is such a vicious downward spiral. Hopefully NCLB can be repealed and we can start moving things in the right direction. IMO getting kids to stay in school should be the no. 1 priority when it comes to helping bad neighborhoods move forward. The kids are the future, teach them early that what's going on around them is not okay, and that when they get older, they will be the ones inheriting the neighborhoods and it is up to them to get things going in the right direction.
From what I've seen at school, I really don't think there's nothing we can do. Sad but true somewhat, I mean like Big Fat American said it's not that easy to put in less poverty = less crime = more intelligent and educated youths in neighborhoods because it's like a heavily addicted man wants to get out of drugs, but the thing is that shit could take years to get over.
I assume employment could help out but I don't know if that would even work or worsen.

You know, those bright young fellas will eventually manage their way out of the mess they are into. There's always better options for them, like moving to a different city(Seattle looks pretty cool), work a decent job that he's happy with. You don't require a degree to work, so it should be alright.
Now, even for the guys who appear in the video, if they gave afew bucks out of the money they make from rolling drugs to buying a PC and getting internet, that would lead them to making better informed decisions about their life. Why would anyone risk their life for drug money when they could take a no-brainer job like bus driver in switzerland for 5k euro/month. As long as you are well informed, and you can man up and motivate yourself, you can get yourself out of sticky situations.
the worst thing to think about the people in the hood life movies is that these people had a chance at one point
I'd wanna ask these guys questions, but ones that aren't too hard as if to insult them. Just like "So what do you think about alien life in the universe?" and hear their response.
I watched the entire thing from beginning to end. Sadly, I didn't count how many times they said "nigga" even though I should've cause that would've been interesting. The one thing that pissed me off the most was those two dudes beating up that white kid while he was on the ground groaning in pain and then started rifling through his pockets. This truly makes the racism in me burn brighter than it already is. As well as that guy saying "I'm gonna rob these crackas cause I need to get food"... GET A FUCKING JOB. I understand doing "normal" things in the "hood" is very difficult, but its honestly up to them with how they want to live their life. And they CHOOSE to live it like this and honestly, I cannot and will not respect that or have anything to do with it. In my book, only pussies rob people cause they can't man up and get an actual fucking job.
And I thought the Boondocks was exaggerated.
I liked the part where they kicked that one guy that was down.
They are literally a mirror image of a monkeys behavior 7:43 the whole fighting stuff, the girls literally look like a bunch of fucking chimps.
Y'know, I'm legitimately curious about how many of them bought their guns legally. I'm not trying to start shit here, I'm actually curious how many of them are even old enough to buy guns. They have some of the worst trigger discipline of anyone I've ever seen anywhere, and I have to think it's mostly posturing or there'd be a lot more shootouts with the police than (I think) there are.
Jesus, those faggots can't fight for shit, they always gang up on people.
why are you guys talking so negatively about the people in this video? they seem like nice people if you get to know them. shame on you all
