I need to get a dashcam. The shit I deal with in my little town is crazy.
Why do so many Australians have dashcams?
Because of piss poor driving standards, seriously, I've driven in multiple other developed countries (UK, USA, Canada, France and Germany) and Australia is by far the worst by a huge margin when it comes to idiot drivers and absolutely no one can take responsibility if they cause an accident here.
Doesn't matter how much tread your tires have when you've got north of 300 foot pounds of torque on hand. Piss easy to spin 'em new or bald.
Lots of torque, RWD, inexperience.
Most people don't have north of 300 foot pound though. Not saying it's not a factor, but since this is a March compilation, chances are all of the oil in the roads is coming back up after a bit of rain which ahs collected during summer making the road slick as fuck.

Also I see the maneuver at ~3:56 all the time on the NJ parkway :v:
It really doesn't take much to get your licence here. When I went for my provisional licence, I needed to log 120 hours of driving with a supervising driver (anyone on their full licence). Which I actually did (aside from 10 hours with a qualified instructor - which counted as 30 hours). However, almost everyone else I know of actually faked their hours - and probably only really done half as much as required.
To get your provisional licence, you need to pass a driving test with an examiner from the road authority. Which isn't too hard because it's only really ten minutes of driving around town. The results show: Lots of people fail to use their indicators, which is especially dangerous on roundabouts. Many people, especially in white cars, fail to turn their lights on when it starts raining. People fail to keep left unless overtaking, on dual carriageways. People fail to maintain three second gaps etc. People treat driving cars as a right rather than a privilege, and so eg you'll get people with suspended licences continuing to drive around anyways.
The Australian dashcam videos are always great, i just watched a Thai dash cam video because I rented a scooter (without holding any sort of licence) bad idea there were a couple of crashes where the rider obviously died in the first few minutes
Even just riding around i have seen some crazy stuff like packs of 10 year olds riding 2 up on a highway and a 2 man wheelie where the back rider has his feet on the ground through a fucking intersection

Fuck I hate this.
Dark colours aswell (grey, black, dark blue) become fucking impossible to see when it's rainy, cloudy, and drops of water covering mirors.

I don't know where you're driving but here in Perth bad drivers are a minority. If i were to record my trip down the freeway i can gaurentee only a handful of cars will be doing the wrong thing out of hundreds.

I live in Perth and see stupid shit all the time, there won't be a single drive where I won't see someone cut someone off, do an illegal U-turn and I usually see 2-3 people run a red per week.
Oh no not illegal u turns. Imagine having to drop 10 ks cos someone u cut off. Still a minority. Our roads aren't nearly as congested as other states so driving is breeze here.
