On the risk of coming off as an internet hero, what are they getting that overly worked up about. Getting stressed out, sure. Full blown panick and crying is too much for me. Especially since it's another woman, not a man chasing them.
why would the gender of the creature in control of the two ton machine matter
Yeah you're right but what I ment was is that I don't really understand why they didn't just park, and kept windows and doors closed? No need to turn it into a chase, and force the crazy creature back into it's two ton possible weapon?

god those hysterical sorority girl voices are so annoying americans love being overly dramatic
because she could get back into her truck and start ramming into them while they're stationary? or she might have a weapon on her, like a club or a gun there are many reasons why fleeing was the best option
She was ramming them, when they were driving to get them to stop. When they were stopped, she produced a fake badge or something and yelled. The second seemed way more safe. If she got back in her truck and would ram them, it would still be safer than getting rammed whilst doing 60 trying to flee. "She might have a weapon like a club or a gun" Club is no problem. Let her hit the car. Fear of a gun is just a great argument to get rid of civilian gun ownership. I NEVER ever have to be afraid in my country, that someone is carrying a pistol. Ever. Great feeling. Full blown panic, crying and shaking is not exactly helping the cause... Rate dumb all you want, might be a cultural thing but I was not only told, but also trained to respond rationally. No this isn't big mouth internet hero reddit idiot trolling. I've had my fair share of shitty experiences where panic was easy, but we kept rational because we were always actively encouraged to do so.

I had something like this happen to me once, it was pretty scary. I shook him off in a local neighborhood where their was loads of turns and exits to avoid a confrontation. I think it started over him running a stop sign or some misunderstanding. I didn't feel like getting out of my car and getting shot.
i would have knocked her with my car [editline]23rd December 2014[/editline] not a full speed hit but knocked her over at least

I'd have shot her. She's a dangerous lunatic and could easily have killed those girls. It's genuinely astonishing that those two survived the drive.

Shooting from a moving vehicle is pretty doable when you're the passenger.
you know who else is a dangerous lunatic? You Please never enter a vehicle, even as a passanger
I think you might have empathic issues, if their reaction seemed so completely out of this world for you.
Don't worry. I'm completely fine. Where did I say, completely out of this world btw? I'm just saying, why the total panic? Fear sure but crying and freaking out is not smart. It makes a dangerous situation more dangerous. I, in ofcourse calm retro hindsight (I'm aware of this) would've locked doors, closed windows and parked the car whilst I called 911. We're dealing with a woman that is dangerous as long as she is in her car, outside of it she's just a middleage woman with a brain that's wonky. Trying to flee someone who has shown wants to ram you, is outright dangerous. You're not going to outrun her, since you don't want to drive an unlimited speed to get away from her. She however is batshit crazy and will drive any speed her car can go to catch up. The only thing more dangerous than someone ramming your car in this situation, is someone ramming your car doing 60mph. [editline]24th December 2014[/editline]
you know who else is a dangerous lunatic? You Please never enter a vehicle, even as a passanger
This. Also please never own guns.
I think the girls overreacted a little bit. They were nearing a damn panic attack, just stay calm. Although being in the military trains you for shit to hit the fan and be calm under stress, so I kind of understand their fear. I still believe that the girl was freaking out a little too much.
They should learn to deal with stress, god damn.
On the risk of coming off as an internet hero, what are they getting that overly worked up about. Getting stressed out, sure. Full blown panick and crying is too much for me. The woman was batshit insane. I'm not at all surprised at how they reacted.
Holy shit, did not expect this to be that intense.
Apparently she was arrested before this . http://www.auburnjournal.com/article/12/22/14/woman-arrested-twice-five-days
this mugshot is scary as hell
Goddamn, that is some tense shit, the constant talking would have annoyed me, though. Not so great when a lunatic is chasing you with truck, ready to turn it into some sort of lethal projectile. I wonder why she chose these woman as a target. [editline]when[/editline] Oh, they flipped her off, well, that's unfortunate.
They should learn to deal with stress, god damn.
Not everyone deals with things the same way. Dealing with stress is easier said than done for a lot of people.
Not everyone deals with things the same way. Dealing with stress is easier said than done for a lot of people.
This. If you're not usually in stressful situations, almost getting run off the road and chased on the highway might freak you out. You get the adrenaline going and it's not easy to keep calm. The girl in the passenger seat kept cool through the majority of it, but it's totally understandable why someone would freak out.
That woman is fucking crazy she actually hit their car
god those hysterical sorority girl voices are so annoying americans love being overly dramatic
lmao, this lady is trying to ram them off the road, of course they're gonna be hysterical. she sped up and HIT their car, I'm sure you'd be hysterical if you're being chased by a person who's out to harm you if they're gonna use their car as a battering ram on you for no damn reason. [editline]24th December 2014[/editline]
this mugshot is scary as hell
what's more worrying is that this lady is/was a caregiver, if that nametag is anything to go off of. I hope she doesn't work in that place anymore if she's pulling stunts like that, I wouldn't trust her to take care of anyone I know.
She was ramming them, when they were driving to get them to stop. When they were stopped, she produced a fake badge or something and yelled. The second seemed way more safe. You'd have to be trained for years in the most absurd conditions to be able to fully surpress natural responses to life-threatening situations...
Are you mentally retarded? Shooting from a moving vehicle should never happen at any fucking time ever sorry [editline]23rd December 2014[/editline] considering how hard it is (for me at least) to keep my hands steady enough to actually hit anything with my hands resting on something, let alone standing or being in a MOVING CAR, I believe it. You're more likely to just cause more collateral..
Clearly he didn't train properly for this...
shit like this is why i keep a bat in my car.
shit like this is why i keep a bat in my car.
Utility shovel would be more useful. Then you could also use it to put out roadside fires.
what about cracking the window a bit, letting her put her crazy hand through or something, then rolling it up? those motors pack a fucking punch and she'd be forced to stay there, probably stunned from pain, until the cops get there. would that work?
If I were in that situation I'd just call the cops and gun it. I once had a dude following me. Nothing erratic like that but he was definitely following me around. I pulled an illegal U-Turn and left him stuck in a right turn during heavy traffic. I gunned it to a warehouse and hid behind a loading dock for 10 minutes.
This is precisely why you avoid getting into confrontations with other people on the road. Flipping them off, yelling, etc. Due to the risk of running into a psycho like this. It's not worth it.
