no windows phone release
there are literally dozens of us
I hope they port it to Windows 10 though, it should work both on tablets and on the (admittedly few) phones running WP10). Considering most Fallout fans are PC gamers, it'd make sense. I hope you'll be able to buy it outright instead of the microtransacton hell most games are put through, though.
But I think it being released on iOS first is because it's much more lucrative, afaik iPhone users spend more money on games/apps, and they also have to target a much smaller range of hardware.
This game is great so far, can't wait to sink some real time into it
Am I the only person with a blackberry? :v
I still rock my blackberry curve.
In this modern age of technology, mobile phones are my Achilles heel. No clue at all about anything phone related.
Been playing it for an hour or two, really quite fun
Some tips;
> When you drag a dweller over a room you get a letter and a number (.e.g S2 meaning the dweller has a Strength stat that would benefit their performance in that room.) If you see e.g. I+3 or I-2 that means the dweller's Intelligence will either improve or decrease the production in the room and that they will replace an existing dweller in the room (I'm guessing the one with the lowest value in the beneficial stat) - extra tip - having dwellers working the right/wrong jobs will affect their mood
> Make sure you leave room to build rooms next to each other (boosts production speed and amount of people able to work in the room), i'm not sure if you can remove rooms. Basically add more elevators
> Best way to earn caps fast is the missions (pip boy in bottom right, tap the rosetta looking thing). Complete these mini missions and you can earn caps and lunchboxes which are pretty OP (I got two 'hero' characters which are working in my food court and power station)
> If a fire starts, the dwellers aren't going to do shit about it unless they're in that room when it goes off. You can't pause so get people in stat (they'll return to their original stations rather than stay in the room after the fire is gone I think)
> earn some armour and weapons from lunchboxes and give them to a vault dweller so that they can stand guard in the vault door room. If raiders break in your can fuck them up instantly (I hope. Haven't had a break-in yet)
My only issue is that the game seems to run in real time when closed (I get push notifications saying that resources are available to gather.) There should be an option to pause simulation when you aren't playing, not all of us have the time to boot the game up every hour Bethesda
I can't wait to boot it up tonight and have a completely dark vault with starving irradiated manic depressive vault dwellers and bandits pillaging the place
Other than that it's a great little game, I'm waiting to see whether buying lunchboxes with real money is actually required further on in the game
It's a cute little game. Haven't had the chance to play it yet on Android but as soon as it comes out I'm downloading it.
