Does this 400-600 package include the rift itself? And some sort of wireless controller?
This would be a good way to lose some weight.
Playing as scout must be pretty damn hard.
I can see it now, two armies running at each other and stopping to catch a breath.
Playing as scout must be pretty damn hard.
it would feel weird because you would be running faster than you would on the walker thing
The ultimate treadmill would be one that includes transferring tiny bumps in virtual terrain to your feet.
I could imagine the extreme using a stairmaster to simulate going up steps carved out of a mountain.
And much more useful than wiisports.
someone needs to hack the wii gamepad or the wii u wireless communication.
Why can't they just make an array of ball bearings? Wouldn't that works an omnidirectional treadmill that's really cheap?

The Rift is already ~$300, so it's obviously not included. I wouldn't be surprised if they had a package deal with the Omni, the Rift, and some controller once both are fully released.
Imagine Planetside 2 with this, hoo boy.
