You guys play videogames? Oh wow, haha. Didn't anyone ever tell you videogames are for kids? Jesus Christ, get a life.
I mean, holy crap, look at this videogame playing nerd:

You also play videogames, that means you are exactly like him.
That argument/joke doesn't really work, videogames are marketed for people like you and me, whereas bronies are the complete opposite of the target audience of the show
Though I don't see that happening, it's making them loads of money right now and it'll keep coming for a while.
And that's exactly why it will die. They'll kill it an replace it with something pretty much identical in every aspect except writing staff. It's what they've been doing with Transformers and Joe for years.
Okay, so I wanted to watch this because I thought it might be funny, so I play the video and my headphones immediately fall out of the socket. Blasting through the speakers at maximum volume is some guy with a nasally voice shouting "greetings, fellow Bronies!"
I frantically tried to mute it, and looked up to find so many stares. I sunk in my chair, and then through the ground, and my embarrassment continued to weigh me down until I reached the core of the Earth.
Social suicide.
I can't wait to see what happens when they cancel that shitty show.
across America, bronies rise from their seats in burning rage
then immediately sit down again as the strain of standing unassisted becomes too great
Yeah, we know that. So what's your point? We know that it is just a show that's goal is to sell toys and shit at stores. Doesn't stop us enjoying it all the same.
There is a difference from a fandom and borderline being a cult or new religion.
"A lot of us bronies have actually taken the time to MEMORIZE all the cutie marks. "
Jesus fucking christ.
One thing is remembering how they are, like if they are clouds, another thing is memorizing the shape, wich is hard as fuck.
Also you must be crazy to do that, I only know the main character's.
There is a difference from a fandom and borderline being a cult or new religion.
Amusing, truly. I would honestly say that without a doubt, 99% of all of the bronies I have ever met have just seen it as a show rather than something holy. It's not like we fucking worship effigies of Lauren Faust or anything. That is just a silly assertion to make.

Give the fandom enough time, you'll eventually get the hardcore fans that are able to distinguish the differences on the same cutie mark from different episodes and etc... It's not really that exclusive to bronies IMO. You'll get the same amount of dedication from hardcore Harry Potter fans, Tolkien fans, comic fans and etc...
It's like the hardcore fans of Batman who'll memorize every single Bat symbol (and their artists) over the character's history.
I bet it's his mum recording it.

Nowadays, maybe, but back in the day it was exactly the same thing.

"Hasbro will never make money if they ignore their true demographic"
Yet he still bought the thing and recommends the viewers to buy it at the end of the video. What.

Truly an autistic.
is murder legal yet?
I can't wait to see what happens when they cancel that shitty show.
It's too huge of a cash cow for that to happen.
People like this are one of the reasons why I don't associate with the fandom that much anymore.
"They are taking the show and bringing it to it's lowest denominator"
If they did than he wouldn't have made this video.

Not really. I just tend to type in a very "flowery" style. I can't help it.

Nah, more like the majority of the threads I post in are linked or related to the military in some way, and then literally everyone jumps on my posts in said threads due to the fact that it contains something military related, and they take it as "flaunting," which is not true. I don't lord my military status over anyone, there is no point and that is really kind of a douchebag move. I'm not entitled to anything because I am in the military, and I know this.
I can not wait for this pony fad to die out, like furries for the most part. How often do you hear about furries leaking spaghetti anymore?
I'm afraid that it's not going to die out for a long time.

Take the Chip 'N Dale Rescue Rangers/Rangephiles fandom for example, they were pretty much the proto-bronies of the 90's and took about a decade to finally wither away into a small group of creepy dudes.
Considering how Bronies have left a larger and much more horrible shitstain on the internet than the rangerphiles have, they could last even longer than that :suicide:

Dude, so many of your posts, especially the ones related to My Little Pony, are using your military status as a defense against any implied or perceived shortcomings. Being in the Army does not mean that you are incapable of being a socially inept weirdo. I was in the army, and I'd say the concentration of awkward sperglords was about the same as anywhere else. The open-mouthed, self-professed centaur furry who always stank of spunk and sweat who lived three doors down from me in the barracks is proof enough of that.

Trust me, I have met many weird ass mofos so far. I guess I just never had the unfortunate "pleasure" of living next to one. Also, it is not really a defense against shortcomings, I am just trying to provide a contrast to the stereotypical "basement fat neckbeard weirdo" perception that many people have of the fandom. It really makes people trip when they see people that they perceive to be so rough tough and "manly" liking a children's show. I just want to remind people that bronies can be exceedingly normal.

You just have to meet them. One of my good friends that I met in the fandom is a guy named Drew. You would never expect him to be a brony based on his outside appearance or the hobbies he is involved in. He is an aerospace engineer currently working for L-3, and is an avid car enthusiast. However, he is as brony as brony can be.
Oh my christ...
Fucker, I write FANFICTION for MLP, and what the fuck is this shit about the "true demographic"? Dude, it's the kids, it's ALWAYS been the kids and it will always BE the kids. They're not suddenly going to put out PG13 spinoff that includes darker, grittier plotlines.
At any rate... it's a fucking COLORING BOOK, you shit-heel! NOBODY ever puts thought into these, they're not for you, they're for two year olds learning the difference between red and green! Hasbro is a TOY COMPANY! Whoopty shit, they pump out mindless merchandise for children! What the fuck did you expect?
If you want adult-oriented MLP shit, then fucking go to Hot Topic!

just because you never have seen one doesn't mean they don't exist
I've never met a hardcore "Burn all niggers" racist or a "Gays are evil" christian
but they're there, and, very very common
and no this isn't a "just because you've not seen a unicorn" analogy.

Most are normal
however the "large" minority are fucked in the head crazy and anyone with a brain would see that

Hold on, you say you haven't met either of those kinds of people, yet they are "very very common"? How do you even know that? You're trying to prove a point here, but you're not doing a great job.

not literally super common, but you get the point. There's still a lot of creepy dudes who are way into MLP https://e621.net/ and god knows what other messed up sites are chock full of them
and only a naive man would think a group doesn't exist because they haven't met them. Look at GOP, Tea Party, WBC, and all of these "new age Christians", the KKK, neo-nazi's, I haven't met anyone in any of these groups but I'd have to be a dip to act as if they aren't large groups because of that. the evidence is all there.. On less extreme examples that make sense, hard core bronies. And how do you explain so many videos of them.
and why do I have to meet massive spergs who are hyper obsessed with mlp to know they're there, that's silly.

sure, it's a brony con where it makes sense, but most will act like this OUTSIDE of the convention
These sort of threads are never a good idea.
ITT Brony damage control
