8 Year old calls 911, dispatcher shows no compassion.

The lady on the phone acted very calm, and professionally. If she had spent time going "Aww,it's gonna be okay sweety, don't you worry your little head" etc, there would have been less time to act.
:smith:
Really? They blame operator? I would blame operator if she WAS showing emotions. That's not her job to show emotion. As someone said, people just have to blame someone.
What a fucking retard calling 911 when it's not an emergency.
What a fucking retard, not watching the whole of the video and missing the point that her mother was dying.

Yeah, Australia's isn't so special. Florida does the same thing.
1. Most wanted in Detroit? Holy fuckshitballs.
2. It's Detroit, I bet she was so use to 911 calls that she just lost all compassion.
3. Is Detroit as crime-ridden as T.V. told me?

I thought tracing was banned in Australia.

I don't get why they can't do that in any other country, and I could of sworn they did.
called 911 unintentionally before, cop randomly shows up within a few minutes.
Why blame the operator? She did the best she could.
I think we need to blame the murderer instead...

All police depos should do that.
I don't like little kids.
Oh, this is Detroit.
Shit.
I didn't think the Dispatcher showed no compasion, I thought she did the right thing in staying calm and just asking the question. But asking 'Let me talk to you Mom' after the girl has said she's almost dead is a bit stupid.
What the hell did you want the dispatcher to do? She was just trying to help. The child clearly had no idea what to do. She didn't even know where she lived. The dispatcher wanted to speak with someone who could give some helpful information like, i don't know, and address? What did you want her to do? Say "I feel really bad for you I wish there was something I could do but I'm just a dispatcher, I offer no solutions so sorry :(". Honestly, please tell me.

Ya the murderer should be the person being focused on as I'm pretty sure he didn't show compassion because he killed someone causing this situation in the first place.
That made me pretty sad though.
And this is why many countries trace their calls even before picking up.
This woman should be fired and/or arrested.
You can trace numbers and her ignorance caused two people to die.

It's illegal you fool.
The dispatcher isn't supposed to show emotion, if they start crying or something, that will slow the whole process down. The fact that this dispatcher was able to keep her nerve in a situation like this just shows that she's a professional.
Even though the dispatcher shouldn't show emotion, I still got annoyed by the:
"My mommy's almost dead!"
"Put her on the phone."
As for the murderer, where's Judge Dredd when we need him?
"Life imprisonment. We're throwin' away the key."

If the kid doesn't know the adress, what else was she supposed to say? Even if she's almost dead there's the possibility the mother could have given her the adress.

Sucks when you're in the middle of the fucking bush
Dispatcher did her job well, and anybody bitching otherwise would fail at being a dispatcher.
Am I a bad person if I laughed at that?
I laughed
i don't know about you stupid fucks but i don't think it would have helped the situation if the operator was crying hysterically on the phone praying to god or something

Only from a landline. Sadly, I've had to call 000 a few times (reasons not directly involving me).
One time on the landline, the call ended (hung up my end) before we could even get the address to dispatch, yet the police came within 5 mins.
Another time I had to call from my mobile, they had to ask me where I was.
