lmao and if you look at the actual video, it has like a shitton of views and likes, wtf?? people actually think like this???
Youtube has a community far larger and more diverse than ours. Not either good or bad, but it shows that there are still people out there somewhere that hold really generalized and belated opinions on anything. Hell, I know people who might think this video would be clever and funny.

That does it. I'm going to find an old poorly designed game people have 'stalgia goggles for and make a tit-for-tat "If X was made today" video that shows a much much more well designed game with better mechanics. Also minutes of unskippable splash screens was a mid-2000's thing that was eventually killed by 1st Party certification regulations before the PS4 and Xbone were even revealed.
I thought the part with the splash screens was funny, until I realized it was going on for a whole minute. "I get the joke thank you! Move on please!"
I thought you were exaggerating but it literally takes a whole minute. That's terrible.

Why do you think the nintendo seal of approval exists Look at any game tim follins had made the ost for, most of them are total trash. It's a matter of where youre looking and what you wanna look at honestly There are a lot of crappy aaa titles that feel like uninspired moneygrubbing crap, a lot of great triple a games that have soul and love put into em, the same goes for indies although theyre usually wilder and more contrasting [editline]17th October 2016[/editline] Sounds like a big case of rose tinted glasses to me, really. As a younger kid you were more easily amused by whatever it was youre playing and lets not forget to mention that because of the carelessness you had back then it was all you had to think about. Its why I remember banjo games, dkc and dk64, as well as my gcn and nes games as being the best shit ever. Then again all the games i just mentioned had so much love put into em. [editline]17th October 2016[/editline] In fact the lack of innocence is why i can hardly enjoy games anymore lately because something is always bugging me in the back of my head
I gotta say, I quite enjoyed the Doom one where they were ripping on Call of Duty, but this was just stupid. Over 50% of the video was two jokes being stretched out.
I thought the part with the splash screens was funny, until I realized it was going on for a whole minute. "I get the joke thank you! Move on please!"
Honestly I feel like the splash screens pre-HL2 days were worse. I have a lot more memories of when I was on the PS2 of having to sit through 30 seconds of unskippable splash screen then I do now.
what even IS the trend in shooter games today? nobody really makes brown aim-down-sights army games anymore, and when they do nobody plays them. even Call of Duty and Battlefield are doing the exact opposite of each other
Team-based multiplayer shooters with random drop systems. You can't really make fun of that with a video like this, though.
How many more of these videos do we really need? It's just the same joke "MODERN VIDEO GAMES R BAD" every time.
