Lol the cop took his license.. [editline]1st September 2011[/editline] haha imagine what that guy was thinking! a cop doesn't give him a ticket and calls him a cocksucker and leaves..
It's so weird how the cop is so nice and calm doing a routine traffic stop and flips his shit. I mean hell the guy was as cooperative as possible. There was no probable cause for the officer to search his vehicle and the guy just asserted his rights. What a weird scenario.
What the fuck? Whats wrong with this cop? There is no logical reason for him to go all batshit on him. Guy probably had something in his car but its retarded to think that someone with something illegal in their car would accept a search. It would be just like asking "Sir are you in possession of anything illegal?" guy: "Yes." cop: "FUCK YOU MOTHER FUCKER ASS HOLE BITCH SHIT FUCK YOU GET THE FUCK BACK TO WHERE YOU COME FROM FUCKER! FUCK YOU SON OF A BITCH MOTHER FUCKER" (and then just walk away) Whats the fucking point??? [editline]2nd September 2011[/editline] Would you let a cop search you if you had something illegal on you? You have two options: 1. "hey cop guy i have this illegal substance here." 2. "No." Obviously if you are not a complete retard you'd say no, and the cop should obviously know it, so he shouldn't even ask the question because if he was allowed to search it, then there obviously would be nothing illegal there.
People say "ok" to a search all the time hoping the cop wouldn't find it This guy just said no which just screamed "i have drugs but theres nothing you can do about it" That's what set the cop off
People say "ok" to a search all the time hoping the cop wouldn't find it This guy just said no which just screamed "i have drugs but theres nothing you can do about it" That's what set the cop off
take a basic civics class you schmuck
People say "ok" to a search all the time hoping the cop wouldn't find it
Allowing the cops to trample all over the rights.
This guy just said no which just screamed
"I know my rights and would rather not have you search my car."
The cop was right to be pissed like that Little shit says "not without a warrent" which basically means "I have drugs but you can't do anything about it "
Oh sorry, I thought you could use the rights you were given. My bad.
Allowing the cops to trample all over the rights.
No it's so they appear more cooperative and less suspicious.
"I know my rights and would rather not have you search my car."
Have you even read any of my posts addressing this sub-topic?
I'm not saying it was for personal drug use, I was saying it was drug possession, it was unknown if he was going to traffick or use it on himself, and if we live in a society where you're allowed to take addictive substances that kills you slowly and gets you hooked on them then your society is fucked, there are laws for a reason. Although if it was marijuana then I don't mind, anything else and my stance doesn't change.
But you could say that both cigarettes and alcohol are "addictive substances that kills you slowly and gets you hooked on them" and they're legal! So I really don't see your point. [editline]1st September 2011[/editline]
People say "ok" to a search all the time hoping the cop wouldn't find it This guy just said no which just screamed "i have drugs but theres nothing you can do about it" That's what set the cop off
Or that he actually values his privacy maybe. [editline]1st September 2011[/editline]
No it's so they appear more cooperative and less suspicious. Have you even read any of my posts addressing this sub-topic?
What's the point of trying to look less suspicious? Especially if they DO find something. A cop either suspects or they don't. I think it's a bullshit thing to say there's a "meter" of suspiciousness, and that you should do whatever you can to lower it, even allowing people to do something you don't want them to do.
The man was well within his rights to refuse a search. To the point, I find it funny that the cop blew up like that. But I want to know why so extreme, he must have been having a really bad day or something. People just don't blow up like that.
He probably did have weed on him. Then again, even if I didn't have anything on me I wouldn't let a cop search my car.
But you could say that both cigarettes and alcohol are "addictive substances that kills you slowly and gets you hooked on them" and they're legal! There was no probable cause, shown by the two definitions kindly pasted earlier. It was fully within his rights to deny a search, and he did. Here's a question. Should a cop enforce laws and prevent their breaking even if they sacrifice a person's rights?
but this guy used an amendment to slip out of his authoritative grasp, similar to how large corporations hire politicians to cleverly weave road blocks into already-made laws.
Yeah this evil man used his corrupted tactics to avoid getting arrested by this obviously level headed, righteous being for what would be a misdemeanor.
Cop has anger issues, should not be a cop.
Ought to be fired on the spot for that. There is absolutely no excuse. As for your question: In this case, no. I'm just giving my opinion on why the cop exploded in anger. Not wether or not he should have been allowed to search the mans car.
The constitution in the modern day may aswell be used as fire kindling. The world is nothing NOTHING like it was when that was written up, and the people that wrote it could have never forseen the changes
You haven't the slightest grasp on what you're talking about.
Read my fucking post, I said thats what made the cop angry.
Wow so the thing that the cop got angry about is what made him angry, that's a really astute point
It's hard to debate on this forum when everyone attempting to debate is a sarcastic 16 y/o
You're so tact and articulate.
Wow so the thing that the cop got angry about is what made him angry, that's a really astute point
You sound out of your element
If a cop throws a temper tantrum at learning he has to work within the bounds of an entirely reasonable law, he should absolutely not be a cop. [editline]2nd September 2011[/editline]
You sound out of your element
You sound arrogant.
I can't really tell what caused it. He must be very stressed or something and that just the small thing that caused all of it to explode.
Although the cop lost his temper I'm going to be honest, he handled it pretty well considering how it could have gone down. He could have become physically violent or searched the car regardless. As it was, he shouted and threw his hands around but he didn't violate his rights and left him there without giving him a ticket.
It's hard to debate on this forum when everyone attempting to debate is a sarcastic 16 y/o
I was using sarcasm to mock you because this shouldn't even be a debate. A man used his rites, and a cop got mad at him for it. He should be more disciplined, especially while on the job.
Wouldn't matter if he searched the car because anything incriminating he found would be inadmissible as evidence.
Regardless what he found, having a cop yelling at me and leaving would definitely unsettle the hell out of me. But if he screamed and shouted, pulled me out of the car and searched it regardless. I'd be scared absolutely shitless.
What ever the case all i was talking about is what made the cop blow up like that
You were trying to justify his dumb ass behavior.
The cop was right to be pissed like that
