Making a bad decision on the job a few times is one thing, but this is a complete lack of self-control I'd expect from a middle schooler.
And you never want to give a middle schooler constant access to firearms and a sense of power.
No I should hope not or he should have been fired long before now, when he should be fired anyway, or heavily reprimanded at an absolute minimum. People like this are the reason "FUCK THE POLICE" type punk kids exist.
"fuck da police" I think was spawned when a generation of undisciplined kids thought that they should be able to do what ever they want and viewed the police like their parents, and so treated them as such, like bullies. When in fact they generally just want the best for them.

The worst thing about the police force in my opinion is that it sets things up in such a way that people who most want power are most likely to go get it.
he probably doesn't do this all the time.
Unless you interview the guy about it you shouldn't judge him

He still had his job, so I'm guessing he doesn't act like that all the time

There are police who do far worse things and still keep their jobs.

Really? You don't see the cycle inherent in the idea? Some police officers make bad choices, kids act out as a reaction, police officers fight back by being harsher on these kids they see as being some sort of group of dangerous anarchistic ruffians who just want violence, kids see these officers as evil oppressive abusers of power, etc.

This cop didn't seem to want what was best for the guy. Actually, if you think about everything he did after he freaks out, it seems almost like he's trying to casually persuade the guy into letting him search his car the entire time.

Yet the cops usually don't go truly out of line and beat them, at most maybe an ass-chewing and a trip home in the back of the squad car.
So being completely undisciplined, "MAN FUCK DA POLICE, THEY WORSE THAN MY GYM TEACHER" is born

This cop yeah, Not all cops are great, this guy may be an ok cop in my opinion since he's only trying to enforce laws which is his job.

Clearly none of the blame there is on the police, frustration and social trends are not caused by reactions to previous events, they're caused by kids being little shits!

In actuality, the "fuck the police" movement you're talking about originated in punk rock, and is more likely rooting back to the hippie movement than children from Generation X, in terms of social aspects.

No stupid it's because kids today are little assholes *shake fist at current generation that is inferior to kids back in the good ol' days*

We can blame the baby boomers for most of the problems we face today actually, but that's a debate for another time
There are things you cannot say.
There's also the FCC
They can strip you naked before letting you on an airplain and perform a full body search
An airplain you say?
Sounds outsidery. Is that Eberron or Greyhawk?
Guard: Good evening, gentlemen.
Jimbo: Oh, hello, fellow American. We're just anxious to get back to our homeland.
Guard: Well, alright… But before I let you go, I have to ask you a few questions.
Jimbo: Fire away. We have nothing to hide…
Guard: Is there anyone other than the two of you in this vehicle?
Jimbo: No, sir.
Guard: Do you have any firearms or explosives in the car?
Jimbo: Yes… I-I mean, no! No!
Guard: Open your trunk please, sir.
Jimbo: Damn! Damn, I always get that question wrong!
About people saying "refusing a search = guilt", think about it for a sec.
I don't own a car, but I own a computer. Now I don't download illegally, not because I think there's anything morally wrong, but simply because I like to own my stuff. So if authorities were to ask to browse the contents of my PC, you'd think i'd be fine with that, nothing to hide? Actually, I do have stuff to hide, photos of my gf, for example. I wouldn't want to have the authorities looking through that, even though there's nothing illegal about it.
And even if I didn't have anything personal that I don't like other people looking at, my stuff is my stuff, and there's no reason for anybody to want to look through it unless there's a good reason. Being searched is a humiliating experience, and it's an invasion of privacy.
THAT is why there are laws protecting people from random searches. Give up that right, and there are a lot of rights that fly out the window.
